That's one thing DICE have miserably failed in past BF titles. Adding attrition to "encourage" teamwork... What a joke! Good teamwork means when two or more individual players are playing together and increasing their overall effectiveness by doing so, like here. Being dependent on some random idiots to get ammo and/or health isn't teamwork, it's just inconvinient and makes the acutal teamwork less fun. In a well designed game you don't need to "force" teamwork, because it'll happen naturally.

@@Zakuisbak You can do this via pilot swapping, new pilot doesn't have to wait for your cooldown to fire their countermeasures. I'd say it's kind of an exploit of a game mechanic rather than a cheat (there are some actual cheaters out there though).

Was entertaining to watch this. Especially, as I achieved something similar myself. I was gunner in tank, in the Operation Firestorm map in BF3. I think I racked up something like... 100? 150-ish kills? With my driver getting nearly eight himself. I think we only died maybe once or twice. I was using a military friends account. Retired Green Beret dude. He chuckled after the match. "Not bad..." Mind, he said same thing, after I crashed my first time piloting a chopper. "Not Bad. Went almost a minute, before crashing. You lasted longer than most people!"

Take note everyone. Notice how the gunner is not constantly looking at the street or the sky or a wall. Notice how he's not looking at all of these things within a second or two over and over. Notice how he's able to aim and kill things? This is how you fly you have a gunner. That's why I will take a person with a lot of assists over a person with a lot of kills in a day.

A good team in a helicopter in battlefield is the scariest thing ever; luckily it was also pretty rare to encounter a good helicopter squad. Most times, the person who took the the helicopter would immediately crash or could barely fly the damn thing.

On Battlelog PC you have leaderboards but you should only look at country leaderboards not the worldwide one as there's a lot of cheaters that flooded the worldwide one. There's also websites for bf4 on pc that show you people who are top on the leaderboard for a certain weapon/vehicle.

I got that to work exactly one time in all the years I've been playing. It was so brief, but it was glorious. I was using the PLD, and just out of nowhere, it was like every squad suddenly got an Engineer with one sort of LGM, and vehicles just started dropping like flies. The enemy team stopped using vehicles for like a minute or two, so my team stopped worrying about LGMs, and when the vehicles were back, there was no real coordination, so it was back to the status quo. But for that couple of minutes where the missiles filled the air... Mmm... Chef's kiss...

@@killian9314 I have it installed, but I rarely boot it up anymore. It's more fun than 1 and V, but I've been getting back into Gears of War. Gears 5 is a marked improvement over Gears 4 in every possible way, and has held my attention for basically an entire year and counting. Sometimes though, I get on BF4, though I usually play as a Commander. It's especially fun on Hardcore where I can relay enemy positions, and warn of waiting ambushes to my team who don't have minimaps.

Gears 1 plays different from all the other games, Gears 2 and 3 are considered the best in the franchise, almost nobody likes Judgement, 4 had interesting ideas that mostly fell flat, and Gears 5 is all about the multiplayer; arguably almost as good as Gears 3, and even paying homage to Gears 3 with the Horde Classic game mode. 2042, I plan on pirating it a month or two after launch just to take it for a test and see if it really is the second coming of Shitbucket Christ. If I like it, I'll buy it, but I'm not paying full price. Never pay full price for half a game. If they add a campaign, I'll pay full price.

Since the announcement of the new BF2042, I have started playing BF4 more and more. I used to be an average Attack Plane pilot in BF1 with 50+ stars. But when I tried BF4's air combat, it's a whole new level, and since there were not many Asian servers I had to play on Aussie servers with 150+ pings. I once asked on chat who to follow on YT to learn some BF4 piloting! This is not our server Silk was banned from, but on our server at least, Silk has been warned, killed and kicked for baserape, more than once, and has gone on some very disgusting basrape runs several times. Ultimate server killer, which also makes newer BF4 players give up the game early. Same goes for Hieb. Yes we allow people farm a few rounds, can't really stop people from being good, but we can stop people from being assholes. Go find a no rule server instead if you wanna behave like this.

I feel ya, this is why I half-heartedly support overall heli limits. It's one thing to be good in a heli, but this is straight-up ABUSE on a map that was literally DESIGNED FOR IT. IMO, this is no different than assholes sitting in their spawn spamming ucavs and mortars. Fewer kills, but just as shitty and infuriating. I heard 2042 is going to restrict heli reloading to the base, maybe the reload timer will be adjustable in Portal. Don't want heli abusers? Just crank up that reload time...

@@xX_Lord_Headass_Xx this is abouts making them balanced, adding a counter is one way to accomplish it. 99% of the "attack heli 100-0" videos are from this one map. That's because there are no jets or AA tank. Adding them would do the job too but I had this alternative solution in mind.

@@netrix2659 Shanghai is extremely guilty of this, but the larger issue is that helis are just too strong anyway. 2042 is gonna require heli pilots to return to base and reload, which will take quite a bit of time from their overall flight time. While not a direct power nerf, it will at least greatly reduce the sheer amount of damage helis can do overall. It will also deter many heli spammers because it won't be a nonstop rapefest anymore, which it never should have been anyway. It should be a utility, not a highly mobile gunship... We also need better AA, because it's better at being an infantry destroyer than a long-range AA. Nerf the AA's fighting ability, make it strong against vehicles, and give it longer range capabilities. BOOM, 2 glaring issues fixed just by rebalancing a single vehicle class.

I personally would be ok with attrition system in bfv if they let you carry larger amounts of stuff. 2 or 3 med kits not one, 8 rockets in planes not 2, 5 panzer Faust not 3 etc. I totally agree that they should nerf AA tank capability to fight infantry, but i think the range is good as it is. Basically if they would increase tha range even more every AA would sit in base without the risk of being destoryed and be as effective as current AA would be on middle flag, where it is very vulnerable

Dream team 🙌. Personally I struggle to find a good gunner to have or pilot. If I fly I feel like my gunner is blind or gets fixated on a target across the map. If I’m gunner I get stuck with a pilot who goes straight up and slowly fly at the target in a straight line over extending the field with no out. Mad frustrating it is.
