Geth was the missing piece of my Liliana combo deck ft. shambling ghast in historic. Thanks to him I could play it as my usual monoblack midrange, with possible out-of-nowhere combol kill as early as turn 4.

Start by saying great video as always, one of my favourite channels and watch and enjoy pretty much everything you post. On Match 3 instead of attacking I think you can play defence, because if you play geth you have 3 blockers and the leveler kills something when you copy it, meaning 3 blockers, 3 attackers and you survive? I could have missed something easily, Great video either way!

You don't destroy things when Leveler enters, only when you cast it or when it attacks.

It is odd that at 37:15 it says choose up to 7, but it seems like you can only choose 6 at most (like you did), wonder why it says 7? Maybe because leveler is both an artifact and a creature, but it was the only one of either type?

An observation: Cathartic Pyre seems like the card you want for this kind of deck. That Thrill draws you +1 cards is ok but as they both require a discard first. That I evaluate both of these cards as discard X then draw X (one just happens to also be a burn spell).

LVD - when you make these combo decks (in this case discard and reanimate) do you find you have a rule of thumb for how many cards of each effect to include? I see a lot of your brews settling around 8-10 of each.

Yeah Reanimator often have around 8 reanimation effects, at least 8 discard outlets and then around 8 things to bring back.

Man, as a lover of graveyard recursion, I really wanted Geth to be good. I don't mind the debuff effect, but that Tap symbol feels a bit too fair. I'll take Dollhouse of Horrors instead any day.

Gonna try a Jund version for Shigeki (good GY filler and overall awesome card) and Tyvar, which should be good with Geth , Kiki and Shigeki plus filling the GY too) Plaza and jund triome should take care of the mana without any downside... can cut the 2cc red cards and a restoration to make room

The main appeal of the red discard outlets is potentially being able to reanimate on turn four with Geth. Wouldn't quite work with Shigeki in the same way.

So geth can't really reanimated until turn 4, is geth better than a turn 1-3 ramp/mana dork and turn 4 reanimation or turn 3 with reconstruction?

That was my final conclusion, don't think Geth is really needed in the deck. Can play more copies of the Saga or the various 5 mana Sorceries which are probably more reliable.

Very nice deck I have to say. I made a little change and put 2 Tri-lands in there Ziatora's proving ground to be specific because I had the problem of having Atraxas dead i hand without treasures a few too many times

Very nice idear, and as said before, nice you had the courage to do it. Tbh I myself was palying aroudn with it and didnt hat the courage to make that deck happen :D Its still a little more on the weak side of your decks. But i fele like its the point that the meta just isnt for reanimation...:Then I guess its an intentional thing form wizards.

Match two after the Atraxa, why not discard titan to hand size then reanimate it and copy next turn? Could gain the lost life back and free Atraxa from borrowed time and blow up the haunting.

I really like trying out all the different strategies in standard but its so hard to aquire the cards, any tips for growing your collection on a ftp account?

Used to be that drafting was the best way, not with Golden Packs it's possibly to skip drafts altogether. Just do your daily quests and get at least 4 wins per day and you'll quickly build up gold to buy packs. But if you like Draft it can go even faster especially with a high win rate you can go infinite and complete a new set in no time.

It's the best red card in Standard, but it fits into a lot of archetypes.

It will be interesting to see if R/W or R/B becomes the default for Atraxa reanimation. the white Invoke seems too good to pass up (placing counters on your tokens or making an impressive Atraxa even taller.

So I saw an interesting deck idea in unranked. Vat of rebirth anvil. So you play anvil but you use the blood to discard atraxa or titan. Then the anvil game will get you 4 oil counters and then reanimate them for 3 mana!
