Coming from someone who has done a couple of years the fact that phil knew from a child what happens to grasses especially in prison and he helped and warned the kid about grassing and put his own neck on the line to go against the smack dealer hard man and then openly fight his whole gang in front of everyone in the yard was extremely brave but to then hear the kid had grassed and had the intelligent mind to think that through and take responsibility for the bust convincingly enough to save the kid is nothing short of a hero!!! Grassing in prison especially when the people involved are at the top of the chain and have so much to lose can't be underestimated by anyone especially people who haven't been to prison!! Most lifetime villains wouldn't do that for another family member let alone someone who they don't know plus the plain fact that it's probably a death sentence to Grass especially in this situation and id say only one in ten thousand might do what phil did maybe less??? Phil was a hero here and nothing short of a hero but obviously it's really just good tv show but gets you thinking!!

Remand is shit - I spent months on remand, and, it fucks up your affairs the same as a prison sentence would, but there's no compensation if you don't get convicted -- it's legally indistinguishable from any given night in the cells.
