Lovely work. I’ll be watching the whole series. A little tip for when you need to shorten bolt threads is to put a nut or 2 below the cut first and then cut to length, round off the end then remove the nuts. The nuts will clear any damaged threads and make putting any subsequent nuts on much easier.

Tape one side, partly open the joint, then insert glue and flatten... what a great, great way to edge-glue wide-but-thin panels!

Willow S Ahah this one is not valchromat, is just regular water resistant mdf (no special brand) that in Portugal is typically dyed in green to be easily distinguishable from the crappy brown one. I had this large scrap and went for it!
