What an ambitious project! I don't think there is a greater test of woodworking skill than making such a complicated instrument. Very impressive work!

This is absolutely incredible. I’m really enjoying your videos. This video proves how much skill you have Cris. Your woodworking skills are superb, but also, your musical skills are on point too. Fantastic viewing, great editing and I really enjoyed the interludes too.

Lovely work. I’ll be watching the whole series. A little tip for when you need to shorten bolt threads is to put a nut or 2 below the cut first and then cut to length, round off the end then remove the nuts. The nuts will clear any damaged threads and make putting any subsequent nuts on much easier.

Oh my god i've always deamed about this exact same proyect but never imagined being posible to make, and now that i've seen your video got even more inspired to start learning woodworking and become better to some day become good enough to do the same build, this is by far the video that i've most enjoyed watching, can't wait for part 2, thank you

Tape one side, partly open the joint, then insert glue and flatten... what a great, great way to edge-glue wide-but-thin panels!

Willow S Ahah this one is not valchromat, is just regular water resistant mdf (no special brand) that in Portugal is typically dyed in green to be easily distinguishable from the crappy brown one. I had this large scrap and went for it!
