17:19 The developers purposely made Batman more acrobatic and lean in this game to emphasize on his youth. He has a lot of the same moves in combat, but they’re animated in a way that shows that he has a lot of energy but he’s also less refined. Great stuff

Killer Croc was a regular person born with an extreme form of an medical condition which caused his appearance to develop progressively into that of a crocodile, hence his name which is why he looks different in the other games. Waylon was put under the guardianship of his incredibly abusive and alcoholic aunt after his mother died giving birth to him and his father had abandoned him. Waylon had no friends, and was the object of constant ridicule of those who knew him and as a result he grew to resent all of humanity. Arkham Origins has honestly the best design for the character as it's the one most faithful to Croc's original appearance in the comics.

So this is a different voice actor for Batman. This is Roger Craig Smith, while the other games were voiced by the late Kevin Conroy. Roger Craig Smith does an incredible job as a younger Batman, and I remember people were really skeptical about him taking the role. Also, it's funny you say Deathstroke reminds you of Deadpool because Deadpool is actually a parody of him. You can tell by their names, Deathstroke's real name is Slade Wilson while Deadpool's is Wade Wilson

As the name implies its his first and second year as batman which is why he's rough and aggressive against enemies and that's also the reason why his suit is more armored because he's still relatively new to his role in Gotham. So he thinks about protection more than mobility. In Arkham City Alfred asks him if he's ever considered a bigger belt when he calls for one of his gadgets. He responds that he has but it was too heavy and slowed him down

This game was definitely underrated when it first came out. More recently however people have gone back to this game and have praised it for its great story and amazing performances and it has in my opinion the second best story in the series with the first being Arkham City. It also has the best and most accurate depiction of Bane ever outside the comics.

This game truly made you feel like Batman. The way they tied the cutscenes into the actual gameplay made the whole thing feel like a movie. They made Batman over powered way beyond what he was capable of in Arkham Asylum, and reused half of the Arkham City map, but it was a damn fun game. Been playing it recently on a PS3 emulator and it is something else when running at max power.

Arkham Origins has the best investigation scenes in all of the series. 🙂 It also has some solid boss battles and is generally a very good game. I think the reason it got worse reviews than the others is that when it released it apparently had quite a few bugs, and even now sometimes the physics in the fights is slightly wonky. But overall it's a pretty great game!

What about Arrow?? Have you seen the tv series named Arrow?? Slade wilson aka Deathstroke was best portrayed in that series in my opinion... And he was Arrow's arc villain... He had a few crossover with the Flash tv series also... He was there with his whole backstory and was portrayed most humanly possible.... Loved that... Deadshot was there also.... Fun fact - Arrow was mostly like batman, rich kid lost dad and gf stranded on an island met deathstroke met Ras al gul got martial art training in nanda parvat also like batman got back to his city and Arrow begins!

about that people that died at the trailer with the gun, well he had like 2 seconds to get out and as much as he'd like to save them, he's not The Flash, quick thinking made him realize that dying trying to save them wouldn't be of any use regarding to the game itself, it has some technical issues, the Riddler's side quest missions and map design isn't near as good as the games made by Rockstady; that being say this one has the best character development, engaging story and great cinematic narrative, i'd say is criminally underated

The best live-action depiction of Deathstroke is in season 2 of Titans where he's the main antagonist to Nightwing and the Titans as well as season 2 of Arrow where he opposite Green Arrow. The short appearance you speak of is in Zack Snyder's Justice League. As I said in the comments of the last Arkham City react, to this day I don't understand why there are Batman fans who don't like this game, but the most talked about reason for the release of this game at the time, which was released in 2013, is because it it was not made by Rockysteady and because its gameplay is inferior to other games in the Arkham franchise, and also because it presents several bugs and performance problems. But its plot, narrative, and story for me are as good as other games! 🙂👍

I don't know if this video goes into the side missions, but basically the Riddler in here is just starting out and goes by Enigma (Edward Nigma) and it's revealed how he hacked into the towers and data to blackmail Gotham's leaders, because he used to work for GCPD in the Cybercrimes Division, because as he says when first entering his hideout "bullet wounds and broken bones will eventually heal, but incriminating photos, videos, emails? That kind of damage can never be repaired, tomorrow morning, when I release everything I got, the city's going to collapse, resignations, arrests, deaths. It'll be chaos in the streets Batman, and there's not a thing you can do to stop me" By the time that side mission is done Enigma becomes fascinated with Batman and so begins Riddler's obsession with challenging the Dark Knight, though he also found a dirty secret that puts all the other illegal info to shame, but he waits to release it so he can watch Batman squirm as he wonders what on earth it is, which would be released later by the time of the DLC story Cold, Cold Heart. Speaking of DLC did you know Arkham City has a DLC story Harley Quinn's Revenge with both Batman and Robin?

This game is probably my favourite Arkham game and I know the gameplay or graphics aren't anything new compared to Arkham City however the story and characters are fantastic and perhaps the most underrated Arkham game if you ask me. This game truly has Bruce go a compelling arc about learning how to become Batman, very much like Robert Pattinsons Batman and this game also has great depictions on villains like Deathstroke, Black Mask, Lady Shiva and this game also has my favourite depiction of Bane as an intellectual, strategic and physically terrifying menace to Batman as he should be depicted, if anything Bane is Batmans true equal.
