UNMOVIED PRODUCTIONS I loved Odyssey. It’s very different but it feels like a prequel to a lot of AC’s, so does Origins. Kassandra became one of my favorite characters too. Valhalla is supposed to be an RPG but very in depth, with better customization and we get to run and upgrade a Viking settlement which sounds awesome

Black flag was the first Assassins Creed game i didn't like. Was so hyped because of pirates, but i hated the fact that i was forced to farm, in order to upgrade my ship. And you couldnt progress until you had. I have not been able to finish an Assassins creed game ever since except for syndicate.

Does kinda look like him. I still wish they kept Desmond alive. Dumbest decision they've ever made. Those that came after him just aren't interesting, didn't make me feel invested anymore. From Black Flag we play the modern parts in first person so I don't even care who it was. Then we have Layla, who I don't really care for either. She felt like she's a random NPC from Watch Dogs 2 or something (funny because apparently AC and WD share the same universe).

@@coreycasciano3255 just a heads up in case you didnt know, i dont know about this one yet, but most of the older ac cinematics are done by digic pictures, they are a cg studio that has done many cinematics for many other triple a games as well. contrary to popular belief, most of the game studios dont make their own cinematics for their games. only dev i know who has their own in-house cinematics team is obviously blizzard, they make their own animations. they are still at top of their game in my opinion.

The Norse did indeed make it to the east coast of Canada (they called it Vinland), but they didn't just "bounce and leave". The reason historians nowadays consider it secured knowledge is because the remnants of norse settlements have been found in the area. Why DID they eventually leave? Well: most likely the natives (who had been there for millenia) weren't the biggest fans of some foreigners just rolling up and burning down their villages to build their own on the ashes and gave them a good ass-kicking. (Contrary to popular belief, America was already fully settled by the natives when Europe reached it's shores - after all they've been there for 12,000 years and longer - and there was little to no habitable land left. The reason the people on the Mayflower later found some was, because other ships from Europe had already been there in the years before and had traded with the natives - and through that had accidentally spread diseases that killed thousands of people and depopulated the east coast of the modern day USA)

Arguably only the first 2 games were actual assassins creed games. They actually had a secret society whereas everything else since has focused more about “Ooh, how cool would it be if we chucked assassins into this historical context!” Disguises and deception have long been dropped in favour of parkour and building climbing in daylight.

Okay so the assasin stuff I got from this is that the main character is already an assasin or became an assasin before that fight, the guy on the horse is definetly a templar cause he saw the hidden blade, knew what it was, and looked terrified like he was gonna be next, and this version of Odin could possibly be an assasins if the raven is suppose to be this games version of the eagle

That's where I stopped playing Assassin's Creed...monsters...RPG elements were welcome, but the addition of monsters and the making it go blades out and completely disregarding stealth made it just another RPG out there, not Assassin's Creed.

If your into Norse mythos and Viking fantasy fan this will be the game for you, but this isn't grounded in history in any way. The Viking age spanned around 200 years and I can tell you that nothing was worn what so ever that these characters are wearing. I assume it Wessex they are fighting and they even got them wrong. Helms were sectioned, almost every Viking wore maille unless too poor in which they would wear gambeson, leather is a rare find as it decomposes in the ground before we could dig it up. So every piece of leather they are wearing is in question that goes to the same with the fur around the neck. It doesn't exist. Actually I remember when reading in the sagas fur was kinda considered to be weak and anyone who wore it was weak. Just food for thought.

On the topic of the inspiration of the war scene in this trailer, this is just my own theory on it : Assassins Creed 3's first trailer is considered to be one of the best ac trailers ever made. If you watch that one, towards the end of that trailer there is a big war scene, just like this one. There was even a guy at the top of the hill (George Washington in that game), observing the battle, just like there is here. You should react to that trailer and see the similarities. Lol.
