And Rio is the one who took Nicholas when Agatha made her dark deal. That's why Agatha looked Rio dead straight in her eye and said "Don't!" She thought she was going to take "him" again. Interesting that in the sound booth Rio mentioned collecting the bodies after Agatha kills everyone around her. It is all connected. She does a specific thing for a specific entity.....

I understand avoiding the subtitles. They have messed up too many times by putting a character name in them that spoiled a reveal and some lines lose their "punch" when you read them 5s before it's delivered. For those reasons I have them off myself (and as a German that is also easily distracted, I could sometimes really use them).

To answer your question when Lillia talked about the 3 of Pentacles from the Tarot in episode 2 heres the gist. Pentacles represent coins, fortune, and luck in team or business ventures. The 3 of Pentacles SPECIFICALLY refers to Teamwork. Now right side up the 3 of Coins can represent harmony and success when everyone works together and learns, facing down however means failure in projects to come. So which way this can go is anyone's guess.

"That boy isn't yours" is what she said. This could have two meanings tho not just one - that he is not her son as everyone assumes. Rio wanted to take his body, Agatha said "Don't". Rio could just as well mean that Agatha has no ownership over him and that she can't make her not take him if he dies.

This episode revealed enough that at this point I'm fairly certain of 2 things. Rio was the one tasked with taking Agatha's son and that was the start of their beef, and Teen is Wanda's son and she was the source of the sigil. Probably a ton of others have come to this same conclusion

It was only when Alice finally accepted that her mom was trying to protect her the whole time that the trauma demon was finally lifted from her. That’s why she felt lighter. It was then able to travel from witch to witch first from Lillia then to Jen until it was finally defeated by Alice.

There are rumors that Rio is more than just a Green Witch, she’s actually Lady Death ☠️…. There are certainly hints of that in this episode several times: 1) She says she “happened to be in the neighborhood, the closest witch”, that might go t be because she was there collecting Sharon’s Soul. 2) In the recording studio she says that Agatha usually kills the witches and she collects the bodies 3)When Teen was nearly dying, Agatha pleads to Rio saying “No” in a way that felt like she was trying to say. “No, not him please”. She was asking Rio not to do her job. 4) When Rio talks about her scar, it made it sound like Agatha’s son is already dead and Rio had to take him and she hurt Agatha in doing so. I think Agatha is still suffering some kind of PTSD from losing her child which is why she’s endeared to Teen.

It's actor driven and I like that. It's very much like watching a nightly stage play in chapters. And these are all great actors so that works. It's colorful. The sets are very immersive, much again like a stage play set. I like musical incantation theory so this episodes theme appealed to me. I think the musician has depth which haven't seen much of yet from the coven. I think it's easy to figure the next down the line will be explored in the next episode as the potions was in the previous. One thing that's irksome is the mystery which is not mysterious at all because the clues are too blatant. I have background in writing murder mysteries as well in investigation so I can see where things are inserted in a story and why are they are there but they aren't doing lampshade this. Being lampshaded myself because I don't want to ruin it for anyone. I also don't suggest researching the stories this drew from because that gives too much away. But? In proper mystery which this is you show the audience but rely on POV to neglect and then the mask off is something that was always there. Cheating is not doing and then a "twist" that no could have literally seen coming. But it was a crime drama and episode one for a reason and they gave it all away. There are two victims btw wink wink. But for me I'm watching the whole time going "Yeah, yeah but get to it please." and that's detracting from enjoying. On the other I enjoy acting driven so much it isn't overwhelming me thankfully. Also because it so blatant I think it's going to sink in soon enough anyways for anyone because I can't imagine they will stop going that way. Else I will be forever thankful for Aubrey Plaza rising from a grave. I did nothing to deserve this blessing in life but there it is.

It’s unlikely. Agatha was present before Billy and Tommy were born. And after the hex vanished, she was immediately stuck in the spell Wanda placed on her. It’s impossible for her to have been the one to cast the sigil.

Dio is probably Death. Agatha did something to Death in retaliation for taking her son. And that’s why they hate each other but can’t actually kill each other. Since Death is death and Death can’t actually kill people directly, Agatha can’t die by her hand. The book of the damned is supposed to resurrect people but I’m betting Agatha still didn’t have the power to bring her son back. When she saw what Wanda did, she had to go and learn how Wanda willed her family into existence or take Wanda’s power and do it herself. She got the book of the dead probably not knowing what it would cost, which was her son

Definitely think they are all connected. Rio could be blackheart and took Agatha's son, who grow up evil raised by Big M and at some point cursed Alice blood line. He killed Lillie's family and led witch hunt to steal their divination abilities, and he foresaw Jennifer as a threat with whatever she was working on, so he stole her magic. He may have put the curse on Teen as a way to get back at his mother and make her think Teen is hers, only to eventually harm Teen as her surrogate son and reveal hes the real one, forcing her to choose. After she chooses Teen, he reveals that Teen is probably Wiccan. Then Sharon gets resurrected and helps save them all with her Earth Wotvh Supremacy!
