In finland we have 4 weeks minimum training to get all permits for full time officer. About 30% work with this course. But then we have 2 different security officer degrees lasting about an year. 70% of employees have this one. Studies contain lot of law courses, self defence, risk management, fire safety and prevention studies.

One of my best friends is a security guard, he used to do the doors at my local McDonald's. He's autistic like me. We became friends because he noticed the traits of AS and wanted to join the army, but like me got declined! Sometime security guards will stop me going into a pub, I never argue with them, I just come back with ID as I know their only doing their job. I sometime buy door staff drink of coke or other soft drinks. I know there are security that are trained by special forces!!!!

It says I must have first aid in order to take Sia door supervisor course but I don't have first aid certificate but I will pay £250 for sia and first aid course is that ok? He also said I need 2 proof of utility bill but I only have bank statement for my debit card with Halifax with my address on it. Could a job centre letter be used as proof of address as I don't have any other utility bills in my name apart from bank statement and job centre letter???????

Yeah pay £480 pound every 3 years to renew your sia license for minimum wage, every security job i have done in last 7 years is minimum wage, I would be better off in a factory. Security jobs are a joke. Your sales pitch is nothing but a scam.

@@mgtowchampion7961 depends what your priorities are. Do you want to do factory work, boring monotmous work. Or security work, sitting in an office somewhere. Both you can do overtime, anyway. And security you can do other things, like read or have a side hustle you can work on while working. Since I posted this comment, I've done my license. Think you're bit off with ths £480 every 3 years. In the 3rd year you just have to do a 1 day top up course. Which is £75 without first aid and £135 with.
