That was always the part I didn't like about the movie when pac and Joe fought I thought it was corny cause real homies ain't gone rumble over some chics they barely know left him in the highway always thought that was corny but it was a great movie ,tone locs part was hard cube woulda fit that but imagine cube playing Chicago pac and cube in a movie I think it would've been awsome

7:00 no doubt Cube would see it a bit different now, but, his sentiment then was real and other brothers felt it. Their fight took the air out of the room a bit. The movie dragged for the audience when we saw it at the theaters. Wasn't a real crowd moment in it, and many dudes did balk at the idea of defending Regina King's role. Took JS several movies to get from under it.

I think it was cause of the male Gangster Rap macho image that Cube built up at the time he couldn't be seen as soft He rather be the villain on 2nd hand. He was just married to his wife for 1yr I kinda believe she oversaw who he should be seen with on screen. 3rdly for him The Player's Club was more realistic cause he knew girls who were strippers in situations He wrote and produced it
