Yep, I hate when people think that there are genders to clothes or colors. Like "Boy clothes" and "Girl clothes" shouldn't be a thing, any clothes is just clothes, it shouldn't have a gender to it. Same for colors. They all say "Pink is for girls" and "Blue is for boys" but there shouldn't be a gender for it, It's just really offensive. ok i understand this but the reason they were saying "softie" is because a lot of people just like making them wear dresses and call them a softie so if someone sees a male character wearing a dress that's not in the actual thing their going to think your making them a "softie"

No it’s cause they associate dresses with women and women are deemed as “soft” and “small” and “weak” stereotype-wise. Which is why it’s common to see “bottoms” in fictional gay relationships as small and feminine

It depends on how it’s used. I’ve seen a Gachatuber who has their C.C. in a dress and he is completely fine. There’s no heat or unnecessary ships, just him hanging out in clothes he likes. I’ve seen other gachatubers that make their C.C. in a dress a big deal, like heat or parents freaking out or him getting bullied for it and yada yada. It really doesn’t matter if you have your Fnaf characters wear a dress or not, you just shouldn’t let it affect or dictate their actions and personality. That’s when it all fucks up

My brother who is nonbinary crossdresses and they're one of the strongest people I know! Anyways onto your point of it being a horror game. But really why does it matter if a dress is on anyone of any gender? I know its a horror game but that doesn't mean it can't have different things in it.Scott doesn't care if we make our little stories and if we change things up a bit. @@roadkill__ The games take place in the 1900s.. men wouldn't wear dresses and they don't canonically wear them either. Unless you're throwing that out the window. Then what's the point in making content if it's just using characters from the game with a completely different storyline-

Well you don’t know that. For 1, you can’t say the 1900’s in general because in the early 1900’s both male and female children would wear dresses, and blue was a girl color while pink was a boy color. For 2, we only see the characters wear one outfit throughout all the games. You don’t get mad at people for making Elizabeth wear shorts or pants when we only see her wear a skirt in the game. There’s nothing canon saying any of the males characters wear/don’t wear a dress. They probably don’t but you don’t know if they want to or not. Thinking realistically, Mike probably wouldn’t wear a dress in teenagehood considering how 1, C.C could use it against him if he wanted to and 2, his friends might judge him. C.C wouldn’t wear them because they’re just more leverage for Michael to taunt him for. William doesn’t seem like the type of guy to care. He’d wear a dress with no shame if he felt like it. I can’t say much about Henry but I don’t think he’d be comfortable in one. Sure, in the 80’s males barely wore dresses, but that was because of risk of ridicule. Plus, it wasn’t impossible or insanely rare for guys to wear dresses, some still did it. You can’t speak out of how canonly the characters wear/don’t wear dresses. It doesn’t even matter. People can make their C.C wear a dress if they want, it’s not hurting anybody and having a male character wear a dress doesn’t mean you’re going against all of the lore. It’s just a piece of clothing, nothing to freak out about.

Well, there's absolutely nothing wrong with being a feminine boy is there? I do agree completely that clothes have no GENDER. But there's a fine line between feminine and masculinity vs gender. You can be a feminine boy or a masculine girl without wanting to identify as a girl/boy. That's what's so great about it. Masculinity can sometimes be deemed or judged in your posture, facial features, or even the way you speak or act. I think you mean gender stereotypes? Because I think there was already a saying for it like I mentioned previously "Clothes Have No Gender". But I do completely agree with your point with emos (Well, emo is more music based than clothing based-) and vscos. I'm really sorry, I can't speak for you. I was only a little annoying beacuse of year he lives in because he wouldn't wear that. And with fnaf I only like close to canon and since they are in the 1900's they'd never wear that but I agree it isn't fair. Well for 1, the early 1900’s dresses were actually gender mistral and both male and female children wore them. For 2 they’ll have more negative feedback cause of it, but it wasn’t impossible for parents to let their kids wear dresses, it really just depended. Thinking of the realistic Afton family, William probably wouldn’t give 2 fucks of what C.C. wears cause he’s neglectful, Elizabeth wouldn’t care either (tho she might mention it negatively since she’s 6) the biggest problem would be FoxyBro, who would definitely use it against him. Maybe he does canonly like dresses but won’t wear them out of fear for his brother. We’ll never know.

For your question, address it to her head on. She needs to know that what she’s doing is wrong, inappropriate, and abusive. She can’t control you. You’re not her puppet to alter and change up to do what she wants. You’re a human being with your own life and own goals, and she’s a horrible parent to think she can mold and control you like you were born to be her toy. If it gets too far and she won’t listen to your sincerity, then tell her dead on that she does not control you or your actions and if she thinks she can, she’s a horrible mother

Me having made my Fnaf characters wear dresses when I was a younger Gachatuber is what made me fully process this. People didn’t get upset with me cause I made C.C. wear a dress. They got made because I made more than 1 male character wear “feminine” clothing. They had a problem with me making boy characters like Bonnie and Mike wear bows and flowers. Sure, making an animatronic wear clothing like that isn’t realistic, but this isn’t talking about that. You’re being very single minded here. This isn’t about Fnaf.
