light photons se bani he kyuki light ki speed tak pohoch ne ke liye mass less hona padta he aur hame photons ka mass nahi pata matlab ki woh mass less he thats why we say that ki light photons se bani he actually photons ka koi mass abhi measure hua nahi he isiliye woh light ke speed se chalte he hum yeh is liye bolte he sir!!! just think about it ki jabhi bhi photons ka mass measure hua to kitni theorys ko hame rearrange karna padega ? aur unke accurate results kab tak aayenge? kitna time lage ga system ko un theorys ko samaj ne me ? Just think about it sir think about it and thank me later for this information and thanks for the video of knowledge thank you so much

This might be impossible to prove with todays's science in my opinion . For a clearer spectrum , let's start with the definition of matter . Matter is anything which occupies space and has mass . Light has photons but there mass is 0 (mass can't be zero but still ... we have many things to discover) and by my logic , light doesn't take up space too (very less to be negligible) . And , if we come on the thing that can light(energy) be converted into matter ?? The answer is yes , but it would require large amounts of energy not measured by mankind .

Photons are the components of electromagnetic waves, and these waves have energy but no mass. How's that possible? Let me tell you how. As E=mc² says, every matter which has energy has mass, photons which are called packed of energy should have mass too, and they do have it, they might not have rest mass but they do have something called relative mass (mass obtained in relation with some other property like velocity). But why? Coz matter has rest mass when they are stable and can exist in nature normally, but photons or electromagnetic waves are never in rest but exist only in the form of waves when they are in continuous motion, thus we can say that photons are packets of energy traveling at the speed of light which have relative mass. Due to this unique property they are classified as elementary particles. (things that make up other particles)

yes light is matter: 1)first of all light is a form of energy that gives us the sensation of vision . And it can be converted to matter by the famous equation of albert einstein E=mc square. 2)light is nothing but a soup of photons , and photons are nothing but photonoic matter. Therefore, light is a matter too. I hope this reasons are helpful for ur curious minds!

Matter is defined as anything that has mass and occupies volume. Visible light (or simply light) is an electromagnetic radiation. It has the wavelength ranges from 380 nm-780 nm. Light exists in tiny packets called photons. Photons have no rest mass and they do not occupy any volume. So light is not matter. It is the radiation of energy.

If we look at the definition of matter " Anything that has mass and occupies space is called matter". Now as Gurav sir said, light is made up of photons, and photons don't have but do occupies space, AND according to definition of matter, photons do fulfill one condition but defies second one. So I think light is not matter 😅😅😅😅😅. Idk maybe , we should define matter again or put light in some other category. By the way, this is just my opinion you can agree or disagree with that. Thanks Gurav sir for sharing your knowledge with us🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Light is composed of photons, so we could ask if the photon has mass. The answer is then definitely "no": the photon is a massless particle. According to theory it hasenergy and momentum but no mass, and this is confirmed by experiment to within strict limits.

Here's a breakdown of some of the more common states of matter, beyond the basics: Solid: Ice, diamond, wood Liquid: Water, mercury, oil Gas: Air, helium, steam Plasma: Lightning, the sun, fluorescent lights Bose-Einstein Condensate (BEC): Ultra-cold atoms near absolute zero, used in research Fermionic Condensate: Similar to BEC but with fermions, also used in research Superfluid: Liquid helium at extremely low temperatures, exhibiting frictionless flow Supercritical Fluid: Carbon dioxide above its critical point used in decaffeination Colloids: Milk, fog, paint, where particles are dispersed in a medium Liquid Crystals: Found in LCD displays, exhibiting properties of both liquids and solids Supersolid: A hypothetical solid with the properties of a superfluid, still being researched More Specialized States: Degenerate Matter: Found in white dwarf stars and neutron stars, extremely dense Quark-Gluon Plasma: Believed to exist in the early universe, where quarks and gluons are not bound together Rydberg Matter: Highly excited atoms used in quantum computing research Photonic Matter: A state of light that acts like matter, still in the experimental phase String-Net Liquid: A theoretical state of matter found in certain materials with unusual properties Exotic Matter: Hypothetical matter with strange properties like negative mass, not yet confirmed Dark Matter: A hypothetical form of matter that doesn't interact with light, making up a significant portion of the universe Strange Matter: A hypothetical state of matter composed of strange quarks, potentially existing in neutron stars Quantum Spin Liquid: A state of matter where electrons are in a constant state of motion, leading to unusual magnetic properties Topological Insulator: A material that conducts electricity only on its surface, with potential applications in electronics Time Crystal: A hypothetical state of matter that exhibits periodic behavior in time, potentially useful for quantum computing Key Points: The number of "states of matter" is a complex topic with no single definitive answer. This list is just a sampling, and more states could be added or debated. Scientific research is constantly exploring and defining new states of matter!

While there aren't exactly 100 universally accepted states of matter, scientists have explored a variety of phases or conditions that matter can exist in, especially under extreme conditions. The 22 I mentioned earlier cover most of the known states, but listing 100 distinct states is challenging and not standard in scientific literature. However, I can expand on those and include many more theoretical, exotic, and lesser-known states of matter based on scientific exploration. Here’s a broader list that includes all the known and speculative states of matter, categorized based on different fields of study and theoretical physics: Common and Known States of Matter (1-4): 1. Solid 2. Liquid 3. Gas 4. Plasma Exotic and Theoretical States (5-22): 5. Bose-Einstein Condensate (BEC) 6. Fermionic Condensate 7. Quark-Gluon Plasma 8. Superfluid 9. Supersolid 10. Gel 11. Glass 12. Plasma Liquid 13. Non-Newtonian Fluid 14. Rydberg Matter 15. Dark Matter 16. Antimatter 17. White Dwarf Matter 18. Neutron Star Matter 19. Exotic Matter 20. Photonic Matter 21. Charged Gas 22. Spin Liquid States of Matter Based on Energy or Temperature (23-34): 23. Fermionic Superfluid 24. Solid Hydrogen 25. Superconducting State 26. Hypercooled Liquid 27. Critical Point 28. Supercritical Fluid 29. Gas-Liquid Critical Point 30. Supercritical Plasma 31. Quantum Spin Liquid 32. Bose-Einstein Condensate of Polariton 33. Topological Insulator 34. Axion Matter Matter Forms in Astrophysics and Space (35-48): 35. Stellar Matter 36. Neutron Star Matter 37. Black Hole Matter 38. Solar Plasma 39. Cosmic Plasma 40. Interstellar Matter 41. Cosmic Dust 42. Dark Energy 43. Dark Fluid 44. Quark Matter 45. Magnetized Plasma 46. Magnetized Ferrofluid 47. Star-Forming Gas 48. Intergalactic Medium Biological and Chemical States (49-64): 49. Colloidal State 50. Micellar Solution 51. Emulsion 52. Suspension 53. Cryogenic State 54. Biological Gel 55. Biomolecular Crystals 56. Protein Aggregate 57. Molecular Liquid 58. Polymeric State 59. Ionic Liquids 60. Phase Separated Mixtures 61. Living Matter (Cells) 62. Neuronal Matter (Brain Chemistry) 63. Pseudoplastic Fluid 64. Thixotropic Fluid Quantum and High-Energy States (65-84): 65. Quantum Gas 66. Quantum Condensate 67. Quantum Solid 68. Quantum Liquid 69. Quantum Superfluid 70. Quantum Spin Liquid 71. Quantum Spin Glass 72. Electromagnetic Plasma 73. Quantum Foam 74. Planck Matter 75. Stringy Matter 76. Topological Superfluid 77. Supercritical Quantum Matter 78. Superdense Matter 79. Exotic Quantum State 80. Quantum Optomechanics 81. Cooper Pair Condensate 82. Matter-Wave Interference Other Special Phases (85-100): 83. Amorphous Solid 84. Superdense Dark Matter 85. Quantum Glass 86. Polymorphic State 87. Icosahedral Matter 88. Soliton State 89. Ferrofluid 90. Magnetorheological Fluid 91. Hydrophobic State 92. Superstrong Matter 93. Superelastic State 94. Metastable Matter 95. Viscoelastic Fluid 96. Frozen Liquid 97. Hydrogen-Helium Mixture 98. Plasma Condensate 99. Muonium State 100. High-Energy Plasma (during particle collisions) Explanation: Fermionic Condensates and Bose-Einstein Condensates are ultra-cold states where particles behave in strange quantum ways. Quark-Gluon Plasma and Neutron Star Matter are exotic states found in extreme astrophysical environments. Non-Newtonian Fluids and Superfluid are fluid states with unusual behaviors (e.g., oobleck or helium at extremely low temperatures). Dark Matter and Dark Energy are theoretical forms of matter and energy that are still being studied in cosmology and physics. Many of these states exist under extreme conditions, and some are theoretical or still under active study, especially in fields like quantum mechanics, astrophysics, and condensed matter physics. The scientific community doesn't formally define 100 states of matter, but these 100 variations encompass the different ways matter can exist, behave, or interact across different environments and conditions.

Moreover photons are not charge carriers ( like electrons or quarks ) so light can't be categorised as matter... If i am wrong anywhere please correct me ....

Those other states of matter are purely derived by first basic primitive matters,By the way nice effort to make an outstanding video but Science is really very hardest mystery which can't be solved(without ❗ exclamation mark!) so science textbooks only focus on simple things so as not to frighten the students otherwise they will surely skip to choose science stream in 11th Standard as still the percentage of science choosing candidates are really very low in our country as compared to arts(humanities),or commerce when the science textbooks only teach us about three major states of matter if the science book starts to teach us other states of matter majority candidates will start to hate science! 😂🤣

Light, or electromagnetic radiation, does not have a state of matter because it is not a material substance made up of atoms or molecules. Rather, it is a form of energy that travels through space in the form of waves or particles called photons. While light can interact with matter and cause it to change state, such as by heating a solid to melt it into a liquid or vaporize it into a gas, light itself does not have a physical state of matter.

Photons are massless particles that do not take up physical space in the way that matter does. They are the carriers of the electromagnetic force and are described as wave-particle duality. This means that while they do not have a physical size or take up space in the traditional sense, they do have wave-like properties that can be described by their wavelength and frequency. In the context of atoms, the space between the parts of an atom is not filled with photons in the traditional sense of occupying physical space. Rather, photons interact with the charged particles within atoms, such as electrons, and can be emitted or absorbed during electronic transitions. The behavior of photons within the atomic structure is described by quantum mechanics, which involves probabilistic wave functions rather than the classical concept of physical particles filling space.
