We called our ladder like that Bagger ladder, after 20 years of fire service. I still have back issues. Being 6’3”, all the weight was on my shoulders, I told my Cheif he need to hire taller.

It was really cool to hear that San Francisco is proficient with portable ladders just like Boston. The only difference is that S.FF.D. uses wooden ladders. Very cool. The other cool thing about S.F.F.D. is that they still use only tillers. 👍 Great guest and a great show.

34:03 That's the "L" shaped "Alley" across the street from the S.F. Chronicle. That's the Filipino restaurant with the maroon portico that my co-workers took me to lunch at one day. Can't remember the name of it. I had the chicken curry over rice.
