NEWER PLAYERS, make sure you guys join a club with max fixtures and set it to primary. If they have Effigy of Potent Opulence active (99.99% will), you will get a 20% gem dust cost reduction on. Combine this with Patron pass on Gem Day, and you can get a 40% cost reduction on dust used to upgrade Gems.

Quick tipp: You would‘ve gotten one Spark anyway, so just upgrade it to 15 to get the second one instead of risking it to 25 and then get not much more (if any) out of it :-)

@@dario4529 yes. He said it himself that it can cost upward to + - ~60k (average ~45k it seems) dust to lvl up to lvl25... which give a return of only more or less 75k dust. Just lvl up the dam thing to lvl15 and you'll get on average 55k+ dust without wasting a ton of flux. Just farm more gems. This ain't that hard.

Only upgrade the crystal gems to level 15 for a 2 spark profit per gem, saves you tons of dust/flux/time for the same end result

I think the reason why it was costing a little less than normal to upgrade your gems to 25 is the reduced gem upgrade cost on gem day

FYI if you upgrade a gem to level 25 and you KNOW you do not have ANY sparks of that type you can just hold spacebar to upgrade it to level 25.

I fully upgraded another crystal gem yesterday, and it didn't upgrade the augment stats to 100%, so I'm thinking it maybe only works on empowered gems. Just in case you were thinking about testing it.
