I have the exact same mini bike it belongs to my son but he's passed away in 2013. It's only been used for like 3 times for short rides and has been in the garage, still looks new , im going to try to get it running again, thank you for taking the time to make this video. ,

That’s really touching. Thank you for sharing that with us. Best of luck in getting it running. And also, thanks for watching. As for the carburetor, we ordered it in eBay, but you can also find them on Amazon.

You have a different definition of up and running than I do running with no new parts Is up and running

Different strokes for different folks. An engine up and running is idling and revving in our book. It makes for easier content to throw some new parts at a project when we have so many, too. Thanks for the input.

Hey! I have a db30 doodle bug, and I’m having problems. The spark plugs on it burns out fast and idk how to fix it. Got any ideas?
@rustednutrepair6752 жыл бұрын
It could be running lean from a dirty jet, if it’s a factory carb, or if it’s aftermarket, it might not be jetted correctly for your application causing either an excessively rich or lean condition burning out the plug. Good luck! Thanks for watching!

Hey will a 5/8 clutch fit for this 97cc doodle bug engine? Or is the shaft a 3/4?
@rustednutrepair675 Жыл бұрын
The shaft is 5/8 for the stock engine. Thanks for watching!

@rustednutrepair675 I've been hearing you need to slightly bore out a 5/8 for the db30. is this true? my clutch is rusted to hell on my 2012 97CC DB30 but I hear the clutch for it isn't a proper 5/8

old gas

Old fuel and dirty carburetors. If it was outside check to make sure it has spark. It could have a rusty magneto. Thanks for watching!

Can I use a predator 212 carb for a doodle bug bike?
@rustednutrepair675 Жыл бұрын
No unfortunately you can not.

Poor video why didn't you show them how to put on your linkages. That's because you had to take the carb back off duh.

You seriously buy a new chain every time? Just remove a link out of chain my friend. That chain has tons of life left in it.....
