The future of the country is to throw entire generations of men into care homes. The male reality is that of a pigeon. You never see these type of doomer videos being made by the other gender. Here is your solution: 1) Go on trans hormones before your 30. This will destroy male Body Odor which the job recruiters hate. Your body odor along with your lack of social skills are why you aren't getting hired. And then you throw the Linkedin easy apply on top of it. It's a true nightmare. 2) Study to become a nurse. 3) Wait for large hordes of men to be managed by HR and DEI representatives. RX-84 and UBI are two sides of the same agenda. Do not listen to these socialists argue that UBI is the answer. UBI is a method to passify the masses, not help them.

Going to ANY store and just asking doesn't work anymore either cause they'll either say "we're not hiring" or "You have to apply online" 😭
@cobrazoidАй бұрын
I agree, and I can confirm that from my own experience. I have applied to plenty of places that I wanted to work for, however, I have never received response. Later, I have decided to show up to those places I have applied in person asking them if they were hiring or not, I received a yes from them, then I I would ask if I can talk to anyone who is in charge of the place that I want to get job, just for the employees to tell me I have to apply on online. Even if I told them I did, gave my contact info, and still nothing from them. Really goes to show that when much older people say “show up in person and ask for a job” doesn’t work as much as it used to back then. What worked for them doesn’t work now in modern day. And what works here today won’t work in the next 60 years or so. However I have seen some sites that say if you do not receive a response, you can go to that place and tell them you have applied but never got anything back from them and ask them about working for the place, so I guess it just depends what kind of place too where you can show up.

For anyone going through college strictly for finding work: When choosing a degree, you need to remember 'Supply and Demand'. Baby boomers hold the majority of the wealth, so unfortunately they are your biggest market. If you choose a career that caters to their demands, it is guaranteed that you will always find employment. For example, If a Gen Z gets a healthcare degree, not even a 4-year (LPN, CNA, Radiologist, Sonography, MA, MLT, PCT, Phlebotomist, etc.) they can literally walk into any hospital and get a job. On the other hand, if you choose a communication degree, it will be much more difficult to find a job because it doesn't immediately benefit boomers. You need to read and understand what your local community needs and proactively offer that service to them through your education.

Fun fact! The job market IS hiring and it's not hard to get a job. The problem? They're using a loophole to not hire people of certain ages and demographics. They view younger people as having.. "poor work ethic" and thus don't want to hire them. But it is illegal to not choose someone due to age. So they'll say you need an amount of experience you couldn't possibly or legally have. Or say you're just not what they're looking for.. or never call you back, as they don't actually have to call back. Additionally, emailing the manager or hiring managers directly is better than just putting in an application. They get thousands all at once, and it is fundamentally impossible to go through and consider them all. I got my first job at Spencer's by just talking to the hiring manager directly. I almost got a job at GameStop, but they were looking for a senior (18-25+) with the freedom and ability to open if needed. And they already didn't have enough hours due to covid.
@Firestar-TVАй бұрын

@MsCoffee5775Ай бұрын
@Firestar-TV you can google the location and check for the information (stores function off of location numbers, some stores such as Food Lion have a Cradle Point (it's where the wifi sources from) and on it is the location number. It's a 4 digit number.) or you could ask the employees directly.. I have never tried this but if the employee doesn't know, ask for the manager. Remember, the managers job is to get you to leave as fast as possible with as little resistance as possible not to satisfy your needs.

It’s not just an economic issue; it’s about the mindset. The problem isn’t just the government-it’s about trusting in a future that might never exist. Decisions get made based on imagined outcomes, not on reality. Sometimes, there’s no point in trusting the future; we should focus on what’s in front of us, on what we can actually achieve. For the love of God, whether you’re Muslim or Christian, trust what’s real and tangible, not what might be. I'll translate this as it's partly illegible. "As much as society likes to claim that it is a meritocracy (anything can come your way if you are skilled enough in what you do or work hard enough to achieve what you want", it is unfortunately not. In the modern day, it's not about being judged by one's own merit to the community, it's about who you know in said community."

Imagine applying to 50 jobs as someone from Gen Z, drop that number to at least 5 interviews cause you get ghosted by the 45 other jobs simply because of idiotic hiring managers or an A.I Bot that checks your application automatically and determines your not good enough. Next thing you know your attending these 5 other interviews but once again they ghost or flat out don't care and they likely already hired someone else leading to you getting ghosted and jobless despite a ton of effort. Honestly? It's sorta the same thing for colleges, but with unions who take even more of your money. Not to say that's bad, that's the reason why my Dad can regularly get work as an electrician since he's hired by contractors. The average wage for a welder in my area (big military town) is 20 an hour, which, for starting pay is good, but senior welders in my same area (according to indeed) is about 25. As a millennial, in my 17 years of working, I’ve only ever gotten any of my previous jobs from knowing someone who worked there already and could give a good word for me to their manager/HR. Still to this day, I only got my job from meeting someone who had a decent job and could help me out by talking to the right people. Networking works, but if you’re introverted and quiet, you’ll struggle with this.

It really depends on the hand you're dealt. I graduated in 2022 and worked in a nursing home kitchen all through highschool. Got through a year out of highschool and decided the pay wasn't cutting it anymore, and just straight up asked my dad if he could get me on at the quarry he works at. One annoying training week done and I've been making pretty decent money since and hoping to have my own home in a few years time. Obviously quarry work isn't gonna be for a lot of people my age, but the point I'm trying to make is don't be afraid to ask for help. Chances are your parents will probably be willing to help pull a few strings and get you hooked up if they can. It also helps that I live in a country town, but I digress.

Hey, used to work at chipotle, basically what I did was make an application online to the location I was interested in, and the day after, I walked in and said like “Hey I made an application online, just wanted to follow up” etc etc, talked to the manager a bit, and basically a few days later I had an interview with him. I was hired on the spot at the end of the interview. After applying online, following up in person or by email is the way to go (for any job really). You should email first (if it makes sense for the position) and then if nothing for a couple days show up in person. That’ll set you apart from all of the other online applicants for sure. My problem with college is that it's been pushed on everyone for the past 2 generations, to the point that more than 40% of people have a degree, and trades are looked down upon even though they pay decently and you don't have to spend 4 years and hundreds of thousands of dollars if debt. When everyone had a degree the degree ain't worth nothing, there are way to many college graduates to the point where the actual worth of a degree is nothing

I’m in college right now, first year. I have major dental problems that my insurance from the school barely covers, and I’ve been submitting resume after resume 1000 times over and NOBODY CALLED BACK. If I don’t do anything about my dental I’ll be in excruciating pain in the next coming months, and I’m very scared. Even in high school, I was replaced by new migrants almost instantly. My old job that used to hire Canadian high schoolers because he said he wanted them to have “experience” now only hires adult immigrants specifically from India and I lost 400$ I could have used towards my health issues by I was replaced even tho I worked there for 2 years. Im sick of this.

Not sure how useful it is, but my best advice is to follow up in person! Yes, most places won’t let you apply in person, but that’s why you should apply online, and then show up the next day and let them know you made an application. In my experience, doing this got me 3 interviews (out of the 4 jobs I followed up with), and two of which were successful. (The first time I did it was at Chipotle about a year go, second time was for Lowe’s which was last week). Basically by walking in they can ask you to write down your name and contact information for them, and that’s what the hiring managers will see on their desk when they start going through applicants. Of course it completely depends on the establishment and whether they are hiring, but it’s worth a shot!

Learn about the companies going there that interest you, talk to the managers, and if they see you are qualified and like you as a person, they will ateast give you a chance lol.
