I may be 4 months late, but better late than never.
Last winter was a memorable one. Not only because it marked my first year in Korea but also because I decided to pack up my things and move to a new location closer to Seoul. As a pseudo-grown-up and a whole-*** alien, it felt terrifying to step out of the bubble that took a year to create.
I knew all the different routes that would take me to work; I learned all the vendors we had in our complex; I found niches that blessed me with peace and comfort...but I had to leave it all behind to start anew.
So the cycle restarts: job hunting, house hunting...everything was rushing towards me all at once. I needed time to rebuild my walls and fall into another set of rhythm.
Now that I've unpacked my boxes and settled into my nest, it's time for me to share my thoughts.
