I sent an empty passport to the US embassy in GH for a conference & expo in September 2023 and i was granted the visa. I do not flow in speech as a stutter, but yet i was successful. Just have confidence and show genuine intent. I did it all myself.

I got my US visa this year. I’m a medical doctor, which helped a lot. I found that the immigration officer respected me and saw me as a respectable member of society. I believe that helped a lot.

US Visas are easy when you show you have a Highly skilled job and live in another country legally. A lot of my teacher friends use this all the time without even booking for conferences. Good one though.

I used this route to visit Australia in summer 2023. I won a fully-funded scholarship from the IAS (International AIDS Society) to attend this conference as a clinician with work and research interest in HIV.

Travelling to make your passport look nice? That's weird
@Raetalkss6 ай бұрын
It sounds strange but is a thing, I had not heard about this until last year. There was a time the US was not issuing visas to those who had 'virgin' passports. Some went to other countries just so they could evidenced they had travelled. I think the US was not open to 'virgin passports' from certain nations because they believed some would over stay. To avoid being rejected, some would travel to other countries making their passports 'look nice'

Yes you can move to Germany to work but only after you apply for a work permit visa if you get a Romanian work visa, you’re in Romanian and want to move to Germany. You’ll need a German work visa to move to work but can go on holiday without the visa as long as you’re not intending to work in Germany

I have been under a skilled worker visa since February 2023 and I intend to move to a different company that also have sponsorship License but due to the recent Home office threshold of 11.90 , this organization doesn’t meet up to it as they currently pay 11.44. So my question is for me who was sponsored Last year when the threshold was 10.60 can I get this new employer to sponsor me with that old pay? Is it acceptable by the Home office? Looking forward to your prompt response.
