Getting a Vision for Purity / Moms of Men Preview-Lisa Bevere

Proverbs 29:18 tells us, "Where there is no vision, the people perish." It's so important that our children catch God's heart for their sexuality and get a vision for how living in purity will plant seeds that will bear great fruit in their future marriages. Teach them that their sexuality is a God-given gift and that God desires them to experience the beauty of what He created within the covenant of marriage. So often, when we feel like God is holding something from us, He is actually holding it for us.

This is WONDERFUL to see! Amazing. We all need to know that God LOVES us, and others. Life is to serve the Lord, not to serve sin. We need to know that marriage, & one flesh is good & right & blessed by God. We need to know that lust is sin/ evil/ rebellion to God. We need to know that lust is an ATTACK. It matters what we see & hear (TV). We need to protect our spouse, & protect our kids. We need to get world influences OUT, & to not make allowance/ excuses for things. I know that we women need to be dressing modestly. By wearing tight or revealing clothing, we are encouraging lust, we are a stumblingblock for men, & we are stealing praise that should be to GOD, & wanting praise for our bodies. It is wrong. We should dress feminine, pretty, stylish, & covered. We should not look like legs walking around. We are not legs, we are people/ souls. We are girlfriends, wives, moms, sisters........I know that young ladies are being told their worth is their looks/ body. Girls: that is a lie! Your worth/ identity is in the LORD Who created you & loves you. Parents must be honest with their daughters about this. Don't dress for the lustful/ sinful culture! Fathers, please be honest with your daughters. Don't think it's just the new trend to dress like prostitutes! Draw the line in your home, & your daughters will thank you for it. Dress modestly, set a new trend, push back against what is wrong. Thank you Lisa & sons!

Wow, you have wise young men. I have soooo many stories of what not to do for my daughter. I regret having sex carelessly before marriage and was honestly trying to fill a void that only Jesus can fill. I still struggle with things but I am encouraged by you and John because what you describe in your early marriage is a lot like us.
