That is 10 times larger than my allotment I had in the UK! I now have about 1000 m2 less what the buildings cover. I find that a challenge just to clear. Again, you have done wonders with you land. Keep up the good work. 😊

@@simplifygardening Flippin' 'eck mate, that's huge! I had a full size (10 rod, 30'x90') allotment back in the 80s & it fed four of us plus stuff for neighbours for 9 months of the year in regard to fruit & veg. These days, I have 11'x50' including the greenhouse & compost bays - still expecting to get more than 250kg off it though & without too much effort. On the waiting list for a half plot from the council, mostly for the fun of growing & then my garden will just be fruit & flowers.

Hi Tony,, How do you find time to look after 3 allotment plots and get so much work done? I'm rapidly heading to 70 years young and struggle to find enough time to get everything done I want to do,,, there again, I only do 3 to 4 hours a day (weather permitting) as I've found that doing a little, often, is better than doing a full day at a time and then being knackered for a couple of days afterwards. You have a fabulous setup and a lot of time saving jobs already completed like the watering systems, thanks for all the videos you put out, they are very inspirational, thanks again!

Very nice to se your 'little' plot. The greenery in your pond was duck weed I suppose, they are a really good source of protein for fish, and useful in the compost too 😊. When it comes to the algae growth on your tunnel, just use some vinegar on it, that will sort this problem. At least it did on my greenhouse roof. My banana has pulled trough this winter, but in the greenhouse I have to admit, too cold here during winter for keeping them in a cold greenhouse or tunnel. Today it was -4.5 C, but sunny, so will probably rise to well above freezing today.

Very organised and great layout, loved the tour :) I was wondering if you could help. I am just creating another two raised beds in an area that was lawn. I have heard you can get wire worm in the soil where a lawn has been and that they can cause a lot of damage to root vegetables. I was thinking for this first year of planting in these new beds would i be best avoiding root veggies, potatoes/carrots/parsnips etc to avoid any damage IF there are any wire worms or is there some way of telling if you have them?

@@simplifygardening yumm I love leeks I have blue leek. To get in. But I’m on it. Just so much work for one silly old duck keep. Lol the things I’m building everything seems to take so long Or is it that the things I plant grow well And the place I need to grow Them isn’t ready. Also could you recommend a ground irrigation system for the tunnel please 🙏 thanks Tony grow well and stay safe my friend Ange and the ducks
