@@larkylark1 They're not cops... Once the car is in the garage they can open it theirselves, they have the keys. It's not common for them to ask the customer to pop the trunk or hood either. Unless you look like a murderer, it would be to make sure you're a target for easy money. Like: "Yeah your brakes are dead we need to replace them, along with the disks. Oh no, the brakes you have don't have that noise safety feature to warn you when they're worn out, you have to inspect them yourself!"

There are 2 easy ways to answer that question. 1. Is your car newer than 2010? 2. Has it had synethetic put in it before? If you answered yes to either of those questions put synthetic in it. Never switch from synthetic back to conventional! And definietly dont swap back and forth between the two!

This is why I love where I live. The oil change place is drivethru and you never even have to leave the car. They don’t ask any questions, just confirm things like your name and which oil you want and that you just want oil done. If you just answer yes to all the questions and follow the arrows then you are in and out in 15 minutes!

An oil change and they gave me a list of what else needs to happen, and I proudly said, "I only have 45$ in my account." Strongly implying ONLY THE OILCHANGE. I left with only an oil change. It was a proud moment.

Hilarious I had my first oil change 2 weeks ago and this was exactly me, I had to drive over that hole in the ground and the guy ahead of me was waving me in and I was terrified to fall in the hole, he wanted me to veer right and I was going so slow and he was getting annoyed 😄, couldn't pop my trunk or find the mileage let alone pronounce the number sentence 🤦♀️

This was WAAAAAAAY too real. The free air pump I use was out of order so my dad told me to take my car to the garage next to where I work to get them to put air in the tires. HE SAID it would be free... but I don't always trust my dad's word on those things and I was so scared of asking them, so I pulled into a chevron across the street and dug in my glovebox for 1.50 in quarters to _pay_ to use their timed pump, instead of asking the garage people that probably would have been in-and-out free, *JUST because I didn't want to get into that situation.*
