And??? i forget where its legal to get pistol whipped by a taser? Claiming its an impact weapon, dude should have taken it to court, last 10 or so supreme court rulings with johnson were ruled excessive force. Hes got taser, spray, grappling training, and even so the guy lies on video to superior saying the guy claims to have a gun BEFORE hand which if you watch the bodycam he didn't until he was in cuffs and done.

It's not to standards. If they were to undergo an inspection, they could get find. If someone were to suffer serious bodily harm or die due to there not being sufficient first aid, they are at risk of a lawsuit or the business being shutdown. Not directly a crime, but sure as hell isn't worth the trouble if not corrected. Such an easy fix at that.

Pretty much this, you still have to leave and fight it in court. If they can't give you a valid reason for firing then you can sue them. I have no idea why people think that "at will states" have absolutely no protections for workers when they do. Each state is different so you need to know your rights and how to protect them, arguing with the person who fired you and/or the police ain't it though.
@f4ll3nzr0

no such thing as wrongful termination with an "at will" employer.
@sukhmaidickoff
@sukhmaidickoff 5 ай бұрын
@@Delimon007 Do you honestly think a worker has the right level of protection if he / she can be fired from one second to the other - without being given any reason? I don´t agree. To me it is totally fine if they use the argument "Your performance was not good enough" - then at least I was given a reason. But just letting people go and not telling them why? That is "low" and disrespectful. And it does not give the employees any way to improve and make things better in their next job, because they might not know what to improve. Maybe me - coming from a European country - I am just too spoiled. By law we have a right to know why we are being terminated from a job. 7 weeks of vacation with full salary every year - 11% in pension payments in addition to the salary every month - and a maternity leave of up to 1 year - with up to 100% in salary compensation.

I hope I’m wrong but I think this dude is actually bright enough, and not intoxicated, so he is able to say and do the things that he knows he should after he realizes he could make things worse. I didn’t find his change in attitude to be sincere, but a well played performance.

That's called "F around and find out". The only reason why he now knows what he did is a mistake is because he had to go through a traumatizing experience. Without that traumatic experience, he wouldn't have learned his lesson. He needs new friends with boundaries and integrity, family to kick him in the ass when he needs it, and you're right - a kick ass counselor to get his mind right. Then he can get a good job and maybe even a girlfriend after that.

Yeah he does seem like he's not a total lost cause, but that's only if he actually gets counseling. He said his last felony was over temper issues as well so yeah he is just an all around POS it seems like, but yeah one thing he has going for him is that self awareness after the fact. It may not seem like much, but that can make a massive difference with counseling. There are millions of American guys who are just irredeemable ticking time bombs just waiting to end up in prison who would never even have that realization after the fact. They would just go on their whole life truly believing the world mistreats them. I see this type of guy every day all the time, they aren't even a dime a dozen, they're a penny a dozen.

There are generally 2 ways in which the Taser doesn't work (either/both of which may apply here): 1: Clothing e.g. a coat or layers of clothing. 2: The Taser is fired too close so the spread of the barbs is insufficient to cause neuromuscular incapacitation. I believe that this is what the Officer is alluding to at 5:34. This is different to the "contact" Taser deployment which is used for pain compliance, although clothing can also reduce the effect of this of course, but the Taser deployment fired for incapacitation seems to either work 100% or not at all.

I'd be letting EVERYONE go lmao...and I'm not brave enough to deal with situations they deal with, no way. So my conclusion is- to be a cop and survive I guess they have to gain immediate control and assert their power (appropriate and not abusive of course) asap in situations like that. Or maybe this is the only job he really likes and pays good money for him? Regardless if he's liked or not? Losing a job is a difficult thing to handle. We all have our bad days and we tend to do things irrationally. Last thing needed is to be scolded and crucified on social media for it. @@amadodabeast so what your telling me is YOUR this kind of person lol yes we all make mistakes and not one of us is perfect but nothing about what happened in this video is remotely close to normal “Oops I messed up” human behavior. People are straying away more and more from what is acceptable behavior in society and writing it off to the excuse you just gave, which is why it’s getting worse. Like I said there are mistakes and there’s this and as a collective we should be shaming people who act like this so it leaves an impression enough for them to want to change that behavior. As he admits this is not the first time he’s messed up, so maybe he hasn’t learned yet..

@@bobbyburch410 shaming is not the best solution and as a collective, we should be discussing how to go about resolving these matters without resorting to public humiliation. Is it effective? Yes. But perhaps considering to give them more options. Having a felony on your record can be tough and thus getting a job is very difficult. Yeah, he shouldn’t done it in the first place, but what about second chances? He needs to talk to a therapist or do some anger management and perhaps help him get a well paid job, if that’s possible of course since resources are most of the time limited.
