Proving that would be difficult. She's not exactly in a reliable mental state to show intent, and with what the two men said aggrevated assault would be most likely I would think. Attempted murder would probably require him to actually be harmed in some way. But it doesnt really matter she's not well and probably needs time in a mental institution until she can be shown to be safe to live on her own. Which can a lot of the time be longer than the sentence for the crimes themselves.

My dad was a trapper. The state owns the land under public bridges and a certain distance to each side of public roads. People think so poorly of homeless people, imagine already having to sleep under a bridge and because of your position in life also being a victim to someone like this who is clearly unwell and traumatized. How lucky that these cops actually cared enough to investigate the situation in the first place.

Many homeless people actually have jobs too. The outrageous price of housing is forcing them out. I have a 40 acre ranch with a mortgage payment that is less than a lot of 2 bedroom mediocre apartments in big cities. I couldn’t afford to buy it now with the insane real estate prices. You need so much money just to get into an apartment these days. First month, deposit, credit check, rental history, and then turning on utilities in your own name for the first time maybe. A minimum wage job is going to have you living under a bridge with a gym membership so you can take showers so you can keep your job. This world is crazy.

@@DemonReign23, I worked as a nurse for years and at least we kept them from harm, they were feed and helped. Yes it was a state hospital till Reagan screwed them over. He turned all patients over to counties that had no facilities for housing so they turned them over to for-profit group homes. This group homes would take their $, open doors at 7am and tell them not to come back till dark.
