I really appreciate how personable you are in these “snippets” of your life videos! I applaud your respect for your children! Good for you taking time for yourself to go out with friends and to go on dates! It’s so important for your children to see you practicing self care! Of course your littles have spats, those are important teachable moments! Much love from my heart to yours Jamie ❤

Loving your videos Jamie...Full & interesting content💖 As I've said before. I have 4 sons (youngest Twins) Aged 36yrs, 36yrs, 39yrs & 41yrs & my eldest two used to fight a lot as youngsters. I always intervened & tried to referee but was advised by my health visitor to leave them to it (never violent, just brotherly fall-outs😅) Aparently, It is their way of asserting themselves as they are all different characters, vocalising their strengths, personalities etc. It is a normal & healthy part of growing up💙💙💗💗💗🥰 Much Love & hugs from Catherine. I always wonder how you managed to teach your children such good manners, especially considering that they are the same age as other children who often scream and selfishly express their desires. As a teacher, I've witnessed a wide range of behaviors in kids, but I rarely come across children who behave as patiently and considerately as yours. I often recommend your channel to parents of young children, as it provides valuable insights on how to react to them and avoid getting easily upset, while still ensuring their needs are met and they feel satisfied. ❤

Question for your friend on mental health: How do you help a close friend who has become depressed for 7+ years when you know that’s not who they were before? Obviously I’ve always let her know I’m there for her whenever she needs it, but that isn’t what helps her get back to normal.

My question for your friend the therapist is: I have a teenager who is showing signs of needing therapy. They have unhealthy thinking patterns, they are sleeping more than they should, and they are not being proactive. I have been making a number of recommendations that I know could help them including, exercise and going to therapy, but they don't want to. How do help them when they don't seem to want the help? Thank you.

Sounds like you had a good time! My friend lived in North Carolina, 10 mins from the ocean. She turned her garage which was all brick into a studio apartment, and told me i am More to come down and use it . So my son was out of school on june 6 and 11 years old we packed 3 suitcases and a few things and stayed from june to almost the end of August. Paid her my electric and other monies that she didn't ask for. My son and i went to wva, south Carolina, Georgia, all over north Carolina. It was the best thing we could do at the time! Also when the lids use mean words to each other , make them write the word and then after words they had to go and find the meaning of the word, write ot down. Then write it again, and make them write why they said it, and write it again , and have them write down the reason they should not use it anymore . When i would help in my son's kindegarden and first thru 4th we did it like this because computers were still not allowed, ( broke my heart when they said oh no worries, he can still do his work ") Fact is, kids that have to write the word down 5 or 5 times and the meaning of writing, they will learn so much better.hopefully their last test of the year wont be on their bad words ! Lol

Have you considered having one of the quints switch over to the other parent a day before (or after) your normal switch day to allow for some more one-on-one time and so not all five of them are being together all the time. It might ease with some of the fighting, too.

Jamie I just adore you and your family and have been following you since the quints were in utero and you and Skylar were amazing together and now do a beautiful job of co-parenting. Skylar did a rather deep segment about his history in the LDS faith and some rather dark and disturbing events that happened to him as a young boy. I realize that that does not happen to every one. And I truly appreciate your giving Shayden the choice and freedom to make choices about a mission. I am completely in the dark about the LDS practices but just wanted to know if there are different sections of the faith and their rituals that are followed? Mainly my question is that do all the LDS followers still have the strict dress code like the prayer shawl for the men and the pure undergarments for women? You are so darn cute and stylish and wondered if that is optional for everyone. I saw a documentary on TV once where people were leaving the faith because of the strict ritualistic practices. Irregardless, keep up your god loving faith and I look forward to your vlog every time it comes on! God bless you!

And kids are tired. having to be good, conform, stay put, listen, put up with classroom aggravation, or being hyped up for the ra ra lesson times. Blood sugar levels differ. One of the best mothering tips given me was put food into my kids as soon as they hit the door. One mom gave her son a spoonful of peanut butter right off the bus. Helped her son immensely. He didn't feel hunger cues, but would get angry until fed. Important to not to over analyze basic human needs which was/is a popular American response.

I see your point, the comment police are on the attack though. I was thinking the same thing. Why not plan the girlfriend’s “date” on a day the kids are with Skyler instead of getting a babysitter. I don’t get it. I have two step kids whose mom is no longer in the picture (her choice), but back when we shared custody we always planned accordingly. When she had the kids we ran errands and did date nights or whatever, when the kids were with us we spent time with them.
