Your new haircut makes you look so much more refined. You will find that caring for shorter hair is so much easier and it won't be as weighty so it will look fuller. I would not, however, call your new haircut "short". It looks fantastic.

Hi Austin, my grandma had a home remedy, mix up equal parts of lemon & honey. Warm it in microwave for a few. Soothes the throat. Gunnar you are growing so fast, Evie your hair looks so cute .

That was my first thought when she said it to the kids. I have two girls, my youngest basically cut her bangs off at the root! I was shocked as it took so long for it to grit back in. She will be 34 this year and her hair is past her butt now.

Not only does your new haircut look amazing on you but your scalp love it too especially if you began experiencing your loss or thinning of the hair which is due to stress and hormonal changes even at your young age I experience that the same thing except I waited too wrong to cut my hair which was way too long. I've cut mine myself and it's nerve-wracking but satisfying and saves a lot of money. I don't make New Year's resolutions. I'm just always making goals in general. We frequently discuss the goals and plans, too. It's nice to be on the same page to help and encourage each other. You seem really patient with your kids in general. It's something we all struggle with, but your kids are happy you're doing a great job! God bless!

Good luck with Gideon...lol...i say this with love! Many, many years ago, my daughter was 5 months old she was barely crawling. One day she started using a coffee table to stand and a couple of days later she started taking a couple of steps. 39 years later she has not stopped moving!

I love the haircut! I rarely do a New Year’s resolution but last year I decided my goal was to send out birthday and anniversary cards and I didn’t miss any through all of 2023. This year I don’t have anything. I don’t enjoy cooking either, but I can cook. I do meal planning 1 month at a time. It’s easier for me that way because there’s no emotion in it, just put the meals in. I always do the same type of meal on the same days so that makes it easier too, Mondays are pasta, Tuesday are chicken, and so on.

Your hair is beautiful and really is not short. Having a blunt cut will make it appear thicker and if you want some sort of style a salon can still offer you options. Happy 30th to Austin and he still is a young man🎉

What worked for me was cutting way down on carbs & sticking with it, even when my weight didn't fluctuate for weeks at a time. It took me 15 months to lose 45 lbs., but I feel SO much better that returning to old habits isn't even tempting. And at 65, I'm too old to play that yoyo dieting game anymore.

I’m loving this new grown-up, Joy, your hair looks great and it makes you look more refined. I love that you take dance classes with your husband and it will count to wards your fitness goals. Maybe you should try some Pilates or yoga. It will help with fitness and flexibility.

Ok, gotta comment on your dance lessons….I was 52 when I learned to really dance, I loved it so much that I went dancing at least 30 hours a week, and met some really good dancers who were nice people. It’s a great way to lose weight too, lots more enjoyable than going to a gym! Of course I was much older than y’all and had grown children, so I could do whatever I wanted.

I love your hair long or short. Pretty color and fits you both ways. We tapered down TV /Movies over the last 2 years, because of the time committed to it. We have never had one on in daytime, but it seemed like our evening entertainment and that bothered us. 43 years of marriage and this is what we spend our time doing???? So we just kept cutting out screen time. We are down to one movie a month. It seems special now. No Tv even in the room. We have to bring one into family room for movie night. No more news, commercials, trashy music and language. We get weather and news on or phone that we can or decide not to look at. It has been such a blessing and frees up so much time to talk, games, sewing, gardening, walks, hiking, Bible reading, books......

Using a whiteboard with 1/2 cork board is excellent for tracking goals. You can cut out photos, bible verses, etc and pin to cork board side and write goals on whiteboard with colorful makers. Then when you accomplish them you can erase and write new ones. Then hang it where you can see it daily. Many blessings to you and your family in 2024!!

Your hair turned out so cute, good job! I thought you guys thinking about your future plans is a great idea! I'd suggest an household planner to help you in accomplishing some of those. There's so many but a couple include the features you mentioned...meal planning, Calendar, Goals, Spiritual goals and daily/weekly activities. One I like is Passionate Penny Pincher includes cleaning too. The other I've been watching her videos and blog is Laura at Get organize HQ. I love how she breaks down everything. Hope this helps
