Thanks for sharing. I've had similarly devastating injuries that hit the brakes on my practice. I severely dislocated my low back in a backbend, and it brought a strong practice down to the ground, and I felt like a painful beginner again, but with the exception that I had more awareness of the breath. It's been a slow recovery, and a lot of tears and frustration, but I got back on the mat the next day, and have done my practice basically every day since. It's just not as easy.

This video totally inspired me. 6 months gone after my accident and i did not stop practise yoga. I coundnt moved, i was imbalance. It was the time of patience and rediscover myself into my practise. brill video!🖒

Broke my back in Decembre 2018. Horror crash, three vertebraes disaster. After the initial paralyzed period, I immidiately started exercising. Gave up vinyasa though, focused on bone density specific. Till this septembre day in 2020, I'm still defying the medics' wheelchair bound prognoses thanks to hatha and zhan zhuang. Never "bend" the wrong way. ;) With love, J.

I identify with this journey. I broke my sacruma few years ago. The only thing I could do to regain myself was yoga. I was in so much pain but something drew me to my mat.
