Getting Behind the Gear: Fozzils: Light, Collapsible, Space Saving "Fit Anywhere Gear" THINK FLAT!

This week in our getting behind the Gear Series, we would like to introduce a small business we have recently discovered called FOZZILS.
Fozzils is a company that was founded by a gentleman named Bart who after hiking the Baily Traverse on the Olympic Peninsula with 6 days worth of food & gear, decided that he needed to reduce his pack weight. After lots of trial and error, the "THINK FLAT" dinnerware became a reality and Fozzils was born.
The Fozzils snapfold products are light, flat & flexible, and easy to clean, making them a great option for camping, backpacking, travel, home, work, vanlife, car camping, and even a travel pet bowl!
We test out part of the "fast & light" series, including the snapfold solo pack (cup/bowl/dish), the 2pc Snpafold Bowlz, and the Snapfold XL Bowl, and have since added them to our van life gear load out. Real estate is essential in the van and this line of "fit anywhere" gear will assist in space saving.
During the past year, we have been working hard to fine tune some of our gear for hiking, camping, van life, kayaking, travel and even our cooking needs. We were looking to improve & simplify all aspects of our adventure needs!
In the process of researching solutions, we have been coming across some wonderful small, start up and cottage businesses. These businesses are owned & operated by fellow adventure enthusiasts with such interesting stories behind their gear & companies. They have become an inspiration for us and for our future adventures and our hope is that they will also be an inspiration to you!
