That is exactly how people park to avoid having their cars dinged or scratched. You got called out for doing something wrong. Then you didn't repark the car. That is not being bullied. You just resent being told what to do.

Sorry mate but you can clearly see your car is parked poorly from your own picture. Front ns wheel is about foot from the yellow line & your back ns wheel is across or on the yellow line making the rear panel going to boot in the other space. From what I can see the other car whilst being small, someone trying to get in the back via the door would struggle. I'm from the UK & thing's like this piss me off but the real issue is your arrogance to think it's ok to do what you did, chill out & just have a bit of consideration for others I'm sure it would have only took you a minute to straighten up your car & that way you are considering others. You may not like what I've just told you but I'm just being honest with you from what I see from your own picture. Try to consider others it goes a long way, treat people the way you'd like to be treated yourself, that's always worked for me.

Hi Dave. I debated whether or not to respond to your rant since I consider you my teenage idol. I don't consider what happened to you as a case of being bullied by Thai people and you are the one who is wrong. You and your family live in an apartment complex, not a single-family dwelling so you must be considerate of other residents who have to live in a communal setting. Try to imagine that if it was OK for you to park improperly, this would send a message to the other residents that it's OK to park improperly without consequences. Parking your car like an A-hole can interfere with someone else's ability to get into his/her car, especially if the driver or passenger is disabled. I used to drive my senior mother around on her errands/appts and it used to piss me off whenever a car next to me parked too close or over the line where I couldn't get my mother into the car with her walker or wheelchair. Yes, there are handicapped parking spaces but they are not always available. In the US, if you're an a-hole who parks his car too close to the line or over the line, don't be surprised that your car gets keyed or your tires get flattened. I think you're more upset about them sending your wife a photo of your terrible parking job rather than dealing with you directly. It's not bullying but rather it's their inability to communicate with you in English. If you were fluent in Thai, I'm sure the security guard would have spoken to you directly. Dave, please don't be that A-Hole Farang in Thailand! That Swiss man who kicked the Thai doctor in the back has put foreigners living in Thailand on notice.

The point most people miss is that they think voting will make a difference. Most countries are two party states. Vote for party A then vote for Party B both being told what to do and what agendas to advance to suit their masters. As the saying goes different masks on the same face or two cheeks on the same arse. This is the illusion people fall for generation after generation no wonder some countries force their citizens to vote. And those that don't soon will if turn outs get low enough.Soulution stop giving your power away to pyscopaths that constantly manipulate you.

@LearnToReadThai7 ай бұрын
Once you've lived in Thailand for a while, you will realise that the Thais have very different belief and value systems to people in Western countries. The title of this video with accusations of bullying is ridiculous. When my wife was learning to drive, around 14 years ago, the lessons were conducted in a large, quiet car park. An inordinate amount of time was spent teaching her how to park parallel to the lines. She obtained her licence with very little experience of actually driving in real traffic. Her driving isn't great, by Western standards, but her parking is fine. She will even chastise me if my parking is a little sloppy. When you go to any car park in Thailand, take a quick look around and observe how straight the cars are parked within each parking space. In Western countries, the value system is different. Observing traffic laws, obeying traffic lights, and driving safely within speed limits are important and enforced. In Thailand, these things aren't important or enforced, but, for some reason, neat parking is important. If you live in Thailand, you need to get used to, and adjust to, the different values and beliefs, even if you disagree. It's not always easy - even after 21 years - but it is necessary. If you continue with this kind of attitude, firstly you will end up becoming very unhappy. Secondly, you may incur the wrath of locals and that could result in some very unfortunate consequences. As you said at the start of the video, you should just let these things go. That was what your gut instinct was telling you to do, and that was what you should have done.

Couple of thoughts: 1. Your kid is not very well disciplined. 2. You parked like an a-hole. You should have gone back and, correctly, park your car after going after your kid. I am sure you would not like it, if the car next to your parking spot parked the car like that. This is not a case of bullying.

Firstly I enjoyed the video. There are a lot of commenters commenting that you are in the wrong they totally missed the point of your rant. I've been in Thailand for 5 years between going back to England to make money. I'm no shrinking violet and we're quite happily take someone on in the street over the smallest thing. The point here is that in Thailand everything has to be done a certain way and I see this all the time with my girlfriend she will never step outside the boundaries of Thai custom. I'm not interested in all these people who say you're in Thailand now you must do as the Thai people do. I am in Isaan. My girlfriend will do everything and anything to please the locals around her full stop I remember a time when she said to me The Neighbors in our Soil were getting annoyed by our dogs. I believe she was next going to say I think we should get rid of them. The man next door has chickens and they roam all over our garden and s*** everywhere and they jump up on the tables and eat our food that we have just prepared it's an absolute nightmare. But God forbid one of our dogs go in his garden and he's got a catapult house firing stones at our dogs, girlfriendwill say nothingtonthe neighbour's but is quick to yield to them. I'm Lucky in that I'm not an old man and can look after myself I don't take any s*** off anybody although I'm not stupid and I pick my battles. Why anybody wants to stay in Bangkok is beyond me but if you've got bills to pay you've no choice. Like they say your possessions will own you. Ps. Ive been having a chuckle. May you can bring in "Hi Pom Pood Thai Tuk Wan, Pom Pood Thai Geng ...welcome back to the channel" As an opening catchphrase ? Maybe get Tee-shirts made to promote the channel? Loving the content
