The original woodyard is just about full, i think you will definitely be utilizing the new one a lot this season. That Oak made a good amount of firewood. Lots of variety. Good looking stuff Todd! Have a good week Todd, Evan & Crew

Hello Todd and Evan. Your inventory is coming along very nicely. Your splitter cycle time reminds me of my old splitter. It was painfully slow and it was extremely time-consuming splitting wood, I recently purchased a new Splitforce SF 9TR driveable unit with a three and three-quarter second cycle time, and boy has it made a world a difference. Now that you’ve garnered new clients for the fall heating season, a splitter upgrade might be something you might want to consider. I absolutely love my vertical splitter, so much easier to work with, it has a massive big table to work on. A huge improvement for me. Cheers Woody !!!

Hello Woody. I hear ya. I’m just not sure I want to add equipment costs to a side hustle. Our splitter cycle time is just over nine seconds so it works for us. We are just having fun spending time “outside” and it has made Evan money to afford vehicles etc.. Never really in any kind of hurry. I will probably have to do a splitter upgrade someday but for now it works and firewood hasn’t had to turn into a real job paying for equipment costs. We will see what the future holds. Thanks for watching 👊🏻

Molli was wearing her dad’s sweatshirt and Evans pants so she could stay warm and not ruin her clothes🤣 Yes we are very fortunate to have two family farms and even the neighbors farm to source firewood. Greetings from New Zealand in the Southern Hemisphere. Our seasons are opposite yours so we are about to enter the burning season. We run our fire from about the first week in May to about the middle of October and we swelter from December through to early March. You are doing your preparation for drying and my preparation is about to pay off. I am currently cutting, splitting and stacking firewood for the winter of 2026. Go well, folks. It is great to see kind-hearted and industrious souls making their way in the world. Respect all around - particularly to the young lady. Cheers, all.

Looks like Evan is in good hands with Molli (Molly with an i ?). Definitely great teamwork on the video!! We are also going through the mud season but we have four days of no rain coming up and I am sorely behind in my production. Todd, fyi, I am seriously considering going with a kinetic splitter, as much as I would love to have the 17VS, to support my WR 28c. Cost and simplicity are the two main reasons amongst others. Looking forward to your solution for the mud problem so keep the videos coming!
