I think it really depends on where both people are in life when it comes to friends inviting each other to do things. I’m a mom of two and none of my friends have children therefore our day to day lives are very different. Naturally they have more time then I do. We don’t let it affect our relationship though.

Some people just aren’t good at asking to hang out. I always like hanging out with people but never know what to do so prefer to do what the other person wants to do as I sometimes feel my ideas are lame and other person won’t want to do it or had friends that always Bailed

#Ididit Love Charlie's little Mario mustache! I'm super sensitive about stuff like that too... overthinking "the rules" with friends, when to reach out, when to step back and stop bugging people, etc. And I'd be the same way with Instagram and followers, if I was on it. I was on Facebook for awhile but I was too sensitive when people wouldn't respond when I'd leave them a message, or whatever. Just too much for me, and that's okay. ;)

I haven't had a close friend in forever,and because of that I am SO SOCIALLY AWKWARD!!!😧 I too am an over thinker and worry about virtually anything and everything... maybe she is a homebody,which is how I refer to myself,and because of that,she just waits for you to take the lead...I would say by your beautiful birthday gift from her (what a talent she has!!) she DEFINITELY feels a connection with you and maybe for her birthday you ask her what she'd like to do and hopefully she'll express it and you can add that you'd love to hear her ideas for meetups more! Just throwing that out there!! You are such a beautiful human being I hope everything falls into place for you eventually. Your wonderful family loves you to the moon and back and watching them all making your cake is just adorable!! I am so impressed that you went out on a limb and made a lunch date. Walking during the kids game is a great idea too. I don't know if there is a rule regarding how many times you ask someone to do something before you wait for them to reciprocate. I am inclined to say that if you enjoy her company then ask her to do things as you think of them. I looooooooove your Instagram stories. It is a nice way to bridge the gap between videos. Please don't stop doing them. The french fries looked delicious. Good job Andy. I have been married for 11 years now and am starting to realize that you do have to speak up if you want something in particular for an occasion. Did you not ask him for cheesecake? I think you should do a 1 yr birthday party for Ruby!!!! I would DEFINITELY watch that video. I have always had thin eyebrows. It worked to my advantage in the 90's when that was the style. Some of us are just not as outgoing as we want to be and rely on people like you to ask us to do things. We want to, but it's hard for us to initiate it as often as you will. #youdoyou and #ididit. As for always being the one doing the inviting, I think there are party givers and party goers, and invites are similar. My friends used to call me the glue because I was always the one who got everyone together. I’m fine with that, as long as I don’t see people getting together and not inviting me. That’s when I stop reaching out.
