I barely ever wear make up!

No makeup for me either! I decided to age as nature intended, I don't dye my long gray hair (I'm about 30% grey now), for special occasions I wear a tinted lip balm, that's it. I'm 41, I don't get as many compliments on my looks as I used to, but as an introvert I prefer it. I do work in a field that does not require "a professional look" so that helps.

You look great with no makeup! Your blue eyes pop all on their own! I usually only wear mascara to go places/work. I'm 45 so have plenty of wrinkles and age spots, but I just let them be, mostly because I never figured out the trick to foundation or concealer! I always feel ridiculous when I try. Plus there's a real freedom in going natural, or against "the rules". 😅

Amy, I don’t mean this in a negative way at all but if you take the wig into a hairdresser, they will cut and style the wig for you to look a bit more natural. They would probably also be able to show you how to bring out the curl more. It’s lovely looking hair but personally I think it needs a bit of shaping. It’s too full at the bottom and that makes it look wiggy. It’s also dragging the curl down. It’s not a cheap wig, it should not be obvious to anyone that it’s a wig and a good hairdresser will be able to advise you on this. I also imagine you are supposed to curl it with heat. Wigshe have simply cut it in a style suiting curls, unless someone with curly hair has donated the hair, it’s not going to curl on its own. No shame at all for wearing one, lots of women suffer dramatic hair loss after pregnancy and birth. Hormones are a bitch and then our collagen levels drop dramatically approaching menopause.

That's so true, i hadn't thought about it! People have fake everything, nails, boobs, lips, lashes, and we dye our hair every possible colour, why is there such a stigma around wigs?! I think it's great, a fun way to change your look! ❤👩‍🦰👩‍🦱👩‍🦰👱‍♀️
