Amazing video, Brad! I've been looking into a lot of OUATIH analysis videos which discuss the 'layers' and I'm incredibly glad that you decided to make a video and demonstrate your take on it! You're the best!

I like what you said about building a different version. Often, I worry that getting so involved in different characters will make me lose sight of who I am, but I like the concept of different versions, because then it's like we can pick and choose which version to express on the stage. Always appreciate your videos!

Hi, Brad, I am so thankful for the videos you guys post as I am finding very hard to come by something similar in my home country. Thanks to your tips and advice on acting technique, I was able to have confidence and audition to be a member of the theatre ensemble in one of our local theatres. I am so happy that now I feel more comfortable in what I do and it's appreciated by others as well. Thank you for inspiring actors all around the world. Greetings from Slovakia.

Thank you for your content! I myself only am getting started, and hope I'll get to enroll in some workshops in my city in the near future. Quick question: Do I have to sign with an agency for me to get work and expierence?

You can certainly find auditions online. An agent helps you find ones you can't find for yourself (usually the bigger ones). If you're interested, we offer classes via Zoom. Check out our website for more info: thehellerapproach.com/covid-19-update/

Should we think about the conflict between emotion and objective during excecution to induce organic behaviour OR Should we think nothing and let ourselves play out based on our preparation induced muscle memory?
@thehellerapproach3 жыл бұрын
Great question! Your preparation is where this should take place. When you execute, you need to let go. You can think of acting as a 2-step process. You may find this video, "Rehearsing and Preparing a Scene" helpful: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nqCZgHl4mc-We5o
