I went to Morocco for 45 days. That power shed in the mall was no joke. Surprisingly, no panic. Everyone was chill. Kept talking as if the lights were on. I thought if zombies burst in I wouldn't know it cause how relaxed in the dark everybody was. And the men with AKs eyeing the beauty of women... UNIVERSAL! Just remember, STDs don't need passports.

The reason the power shuts off is because of this thing called loadshedding. It's basically a schedule for when the power is on and on because we don't have enough electricity for some reason.

For those who don’t know, the power outages are called load shedding, they’re scheduled by the government and turn off different areas at a time to take stress off the failing power grid, they can last from like 2 hours to 12, and sometimes hit multiple times a day. Literally anyone who can afford it buys an inverter, solar panels or a generator

The constant power outages is what we call load shedding and there is an app you can download that tells you exactly when the power is gonna go out so that it doesn't take you by surprise.
