I absolutely love your Bear Room!!! It reminds me of a dream I had as a child. A treasure room full of advent🥰 in the attic of my grandparents house. You inspired me to wind my 8 clocks. One of which belonged to my great grandparents 💋 Tic-tic, dong dong, music every now and then ❤️ It’s definitely soothingly pleasant. Thank you for giving these well loved bears a second life 🥰🥰🥰

I just love being in the Bear room with you! Definitely a happy place for me! I love how Pompadour has evolved, he's a really handsome bear. I think Mr Doggy Bear is a dog, ears down absolutely. Isn't it fascinating the liberty you have between making a Dog OR Bear type animal? 'He' looks alreaddy like a Lovable one. You had me Chuckle away when saying : "...it seems a shame to waist the nose" ; )) oh and yes, as for the ears,... The hanging ones remind me of my dear Saluki, his name was "Fakir". I agree with the other people. The new creation looks more like a dog....he should have ears like a lab or setter. He is kind of setter red or a very dark golden retriever. Its cool that you're creating a dog; there are few of those ( of good quality) made these days. Happy stitching and keep well.

Jen a suggestion, instead of your knitting needle, if they’re still available, an orange stick, they’re used by manicurist’s. The old ones are best last for years, more modern are from bamboo, I believe. 🤷‍♀️ If I can find some old ones I’ll try to send to you, much easier than a long needle. I’ve a purple lavender bear I bought 8 years ago, can still slightly smell the lavender. I don’t get headaches often so I unopened his pocket to replenish his scent bag. Love him❣️ Jen what type of threads do you use for your bears, body sew ups, normal threads cotton etc, or a waxed linen thread? 🤷‍♀️❣️

If you can get what is closest to the original fabric , if it’s difficult to tell then you can’t really go wrong with good quality natural felt if you are restoring just for preservation and not value , ⭐️🌙
