Use a transparent layer and paint in the golden color and then change the blend mode to color and make a second one set to soft light to play with the richness of the color

Sure! So when you want to change the color of a white or transparent thing these are the steps I take: make a transparent layer (its just a blank layer). On that layer paint the color you want the thing to be on top of the thing you want to change colors. Then change that layers blend mod to color. Make a duplicate copy of that layer you just colored on and then change that layers blend mode to soft light. Toggle both as needed to get the exact color and richness you want@@SusanneGeert
