Hi, thanks for the kind words. Yes, I have been so busy with EAA#280 and the museum the past year that my video making has suffered. I had planned to go to Ranger this weekend and video that flyin but badly sprained my left ankle and decided to wait for Reklaw. I will be at Reklaw filming so stay tuned my friend. I BBQ quite a lot for our EAA meetings and have perfected my BBQ recipies over the past 50 years and have thought about doing a few videos on my world class smoked meats but not sure anyone would appreciate that. Again, thanks a lot.🙂

This is my first time viewing your videos, I am impressed on this video. I Love seeing a flight like this one. Awesome video!! I lived in White Settlement, and I think I know where this airport is located. I have seen many planes landing on it while driving on the highway.

Ok you have some ‘splaining to do. Do you reset your altimeter to read 0 at field elevation?

Hi, most days I set to field elevation however when I go do aerobatics I zero the altimeter for reasons you can imagine. I zero'd it out on this flight trying to nail certain altitudes in the pattern I wanted to hit with accuracy, having poor luck as it turns out. 🙂
