Happy to see another poor soul like me get depressed in episode 3 I am a huge sao fan and I just wanted to let you know I have played every Sao game and in a specific game called Sao hollow fragment you have that gift from Sachi and I always had it and you can sell it but I never did because because it was one of my favorite episodes even tho it was also possibly the saddest I have watched it a bit for sure over a hundred times and it always got me crying heavy but I was just crying a little bit this time so I am making progress 😂

In the light novel is mentioned that Kirito had a bad time fighting Nicolás/Santa, he used all of his potions and still his HP was in red when he finally defeated the boss

We truly can't blame those beta tester....The game itself are literally changing some of it's system thanks to Kayaba (GM)

Yep, and most of the players that have died at that point of time are actually beta testers because there are a lot of changes that Kayaba did to the game. The beta testers face situations that they think they knew but actually more difficult than they anticipated. I think, to enjoy this anime, the viewers have to have a lot of empathy and try to understand the message underneath some situation because this anime deals a lot with trauma and human emotions.. A lot of things that the characters in here did are very human but also can easily be misunderstood, i.e. kirito taking all the hatred directed towards beta tester by dissing all the players so that the hatred will fall only on him and the other players can be united regardless of being a beta tester or not.. He understands that unity is important to progress and clear the game.. Instead, people who watch the scene only on the surface will think kirito is only trying to be cool and edgy and so, they started to hate on kirito for it.. Anyway, looking forward to the future reactions!!😊😊

@@sakurahanis Yes, people don't understand Kirito. He never try to be a hero, all he want was to survive. He knows that for him to survive the game must be clear, so he took the blame so that other can unify and have better chance at clearing the game.

The trap monsters level are based on average level of each players. Kirito's level is a lot higher than his teammates so the monsters have a lot higher level than the rest of the party and able to kill the rest with few hits while taken less damage.

The story is excellent but it deals with horrible messed up situations and some of the worst of humanity. But the main characters are kind, sweet and delightful. Some shows are light funny and fun, many are tragic it deal with dark or difficult topics.

Every city in sao has a teleport gate they can get u through floors that been cleared aslong as a teleport gates been activated on the next floor u can teleport up to it

Little context, late, but context still. Ep 3 takes place right as they reached floor 26, that is, beating the boss of floor 25. The floor 25 boss fight was *A MASSACRE*, many of the front liners died in it. That fight was what prompted Kirito and Asuna to break up their partnership (because he felt she'd be safer in a well stabilished guild instead of just hanging around him), so not only Kirito was alone for the first time in a good while, he also had the burden of all those deaths, in the novel it is stated how he and Sachi didnt feel anything romantic about each other, but rather were somewhat attached because it was their way of coping.

The issue is the first arc in light nivel got rushed half way through the author admits he wished he didnt eush the aincrad adc so he went back and made a series called sao progressive which is taking its time with a book per floor while the original sao this is based on does massive time skips
