Kirito is a loner and prefers to solo grind because if he fights monsters with teammates, the Exp is then split and shared with everyone is his group. Where as if he beats a monster alone he gets all the exp himself thus making him stronger alomg the line. Fun facts : - The creator said his goal was to create and control his own world,so it sounds like he has a god complex, villain role of ruling the world lol. On that note,please remember the name Akihiko Kayaba,it will come in handy in future. - In sao they feel the cut, they react to it as it shuffles their local nerves but it doesn't hurt.

For me after aincard arc everything goes down , gun gale had its moments but overall wasn't very great everything after that for me was so bad I don't remember half of what happened and then alicization came and I was surprised cause it was quite good of course war of the underworld was very underwhelming compere to alicization, but at least we've got Anima opening so there's always something to like :D

In the novel it is explained that when the nerve gear is unplugged it needs some time to destroy your brain. The battery's function is to give it the time to do it. Moreover if someone tries to open the nerve gear or manipulate it, this also triggers the microwave

The headset has a battery but they can't just let the battery run dry. It'll zap the brain before that happens. Also, something happens in the LN after the end of episode one that doesn't get put into the anime. Kirito meets up with another beta tester who had the same idea of getting ahead of the other players. They team up to do a quest which requires killing some oversized mushroom like monsters. The issue is, if not handled correctly, they give out a scream that attracts all the others nearby (Watch the first of the Progressive series to see the quest). The other beta tester sets Kirito up to get caught in one of the screams but Kirito manages to turn it around causing the other guy to get overwhelmed and die. This gives Kirito both guilt and trust issues. It's a major character development that really needed to be in the anime.

Ahh the long wait is over,here comes SAO reaction. Neel you're in for a ride,it's not a masterpiece by any means but it will definitely show u a different side of the ISEKAI genre. This show is what made the shift in anime to having so many isekei made every year. Before this one,isekei was a rare thing that was new and exciting, the popularity of sao affected isekei like twilight effected vampires. It made so many people try copy it till the genre became as saturated as its criticised for but this is the og of the hype for isekels. Also,it's one of the most successful if not the most commercially successful isekai show.

I've looked at the battery thing like this, in our computers there's a c22 battery used to power the cmos and bios even when the internal laptop battery is removed. This way base functions aren't reset, and system clocks aren't messed up. But, a cmos style batter probably isn't strong enough to zap your brain. However, the system uses capacitors, which are battery banks used in computers to temporarily store and release massive wattage. So, even if they unplug the system, the cmos battery which controls basic bios functions could send a message to dump all the stored wattage in the capacitors and that would certainly be enough to fry a brain. SAOA is still better though :)

Sweet. FYI there’s some things u should know. After S1, watch SAO Extra Edition. And after Season 2, watch the movie: Ordinal scale. EDIT: There’s also a 12 episode spin-off series, it’s not relevant to the main series but set in the same universe. SAO Alternative: Gun Gale online U don’t need to watch it for SAO. But if u do watch it, it would be in after s2 part 1. Kinda takes place at around the same time as season 2 part 3. Just for reference
