So I listen to new music as I play my video games. When I got to this album, the first track caught my attention. I put down my game to listen to this without any distraction. The game was Elden Ring. I put down Elden Ring to listen to Saviour

9.9/10 for me. Only real issue is that this album was way too short, another song or two at this quality is a 10.

5:19 that's exactly it, it's basically both metalcore and post/melodic hardcore at the same time and in a perfect balance all the way through, so glad i found this band. BTW that chorus and the melodic guitars in Racing Home are god tier stuff, my favourite track atm.

It’s like a combination of Amity Affliction, Make Them Suffer, old Northlane(with Adrian) and Buried in Verona And I’m so in love!

So glad you reacted to them, this band is so good! Sick guitar tunes and solos everywhere which always keep your attention, groovy breakdowns and three damn good vocalists. But mostly I like the chilling vibe of a lot of the songs on the album, while they are still heavy as fck

I’m sure this comparison has been made countless times, but for me just now hearing them, they remind me a lot of recent Make Them Suffer

This album is incredible, but I still got Pridelands - Light Bends as my AOTY. That album I feel like went super under the radar. It’s like if Northlane expanded on the Node/Mesmer sound. Node is my favorite Northlane album (hot take) so Light Bends is an absolute masterpiece in my opinion

Never heard of this band before. Tidal Wave, Black Rosary, Younger, Cynical, and Wishing Well are my personal favorites from the album. From first and second listen, this seems to be one of those albums where I don't hate it, don't love it. Just like it. I enjoyed the vocals a lot. Hopefully this album grows on me.

I forgot how heavy this band is. They trick you with the clean vocals and the melody's but then the breakdowns hit and its like you get hit by a train.

They did this album justice by making it 8 tracks. The songs themselves have enough vibey interludes in them, they didn't the short intro, outro and interlude tracks. They made this album so solid, start to finish. Gotta say this may be AOTY so far for me. It hits that spot on all levels for me!

Their sound is so hard to describe. It's bedroom rock, dream pop, driving rock, melodic hardcore ala The Ghost Inside + Misery Signals, ambient progressive metalcore like Invent Animate + Currents, mixed with Silversun Pickups and Of Monsters and Men clean vocals. It's so wild. This band is so slept on. Hopefully this reaction gets people to notice finally.

Geez give me a break. 3 vocalists, one female who offers some of the most ethereal and vibey cleans ever. Layers on layers that all serve a purpose. Incredibly progressive guitar work that only a handful of bands are matching right now, vibes and atmosphere for days on every song. Satisfying impact with every breakdown. Chonkyyy ass guitar tone. Yeah sounds pretty generic to me.
