But an hour before 1 o'clock isn't 0 o'clock, but 12 o'clock, and 12 is bigger than 1. As you keep subtracting hours on a clock, eventually it jumps to become larger. This game was made with the experience like a clock, so when they kept on loosing focus, eventually it hit zero and became a much larger number (likely around 2 billion, knowing computers).

I think what happened with the Focus is that I think the lowest values you can have is 25 in everything - and essentially by going lower by a good chunk than that you somehow managed to reach a data overflow... It *could* be that you pretty much went to 0 focus due to all that loss and then the value just overflowed since you potentially went into negatives... Fantastic game design, no protection from this whatsoever - feels like this should always be a "just in case"...

You are simply exposing that it would be excessively expensive to write computer code just to take into account the "out of box" players who just want to lose. I personally will take that sacrifice. While this is amusing, it's part of the lumps I'm willing to take to get the most decent game for the tryhards.
