Yup. I used to wonder why my Dad never smiles that often. Even in old pictures he looked very intimidating, like I wouldn't even talk to him if I saw him back then. It's funny because naturally I'm the same way and my mother used to always tell me "you need to smile more", and I tried it at first, but then I realized "wait a minute, my Dad always has a serious look and you ended up getting pregnant by and marrying him". Since then I'm back to my natural self, but the key is to try to find a good balance. I'm still working on that myself.

I can mos def agree with this. I have always had a very cold aura since I pretty much grew up a loner. Because I was on the quiet side, men would test the waters but because my responses would be void emotion and their would be a coldness to my look it typically would go in the cycle of: Disrespect- Dude who you looking at like that - to dude are you crazy or something it was just joke don't be so serious. But we know tests aren't jokes. When it came to women I had a reputation for being mean and to a degree I am because if I don't know you I'm not interested in knowing you and ironically once I came to grips with not being liked everyone wanted to know me. College women would be quicker to follow my directions without hesitation when we would do school projects, organization projects, jobs, etc and a lot of time it would be because when they start to argue my response would just be "I don't have time for that either do it or don't". As time went on most women around me would just be conditioned to do whatever they thought I wanted anyway. Even my mother who was ruthless when it came to disrespect stopped trying to be aggressive to me because my response to any punishment was I don't care i'll survive it. In fact to this day the ones who begged for mercy she neglected and the son who showed her no remorse is the one she rushes to do stuff for. It's the reason my cousin who is mos def select told me this summer if you bring that business minded cut throat energy to personal relationships with women you'll get more cooperation. For the sake of "love" I would ease up and women would get out of hand and my temper would flare all the way because I was out of character. Truth is best decision I made was become more social but maintaining that i'll cut you off quick energy.

I used to get messed with when I was a lot younger. Although this was in East Africa, it still is relevant to to the topic. And having to deal with disrespect made me realize that certain individuals are just foul human beings. So, it's in their nature/constitution to try to bring you down since they can't build themselves up. And there's always a certain person trying victimize you to make themselves important. It comes down to this whole notion that for one to be respected people must fear you. At the same time one has to be aware of when other people are trying to manipulate you. Either way I've realized that it's always better to walk away. For there's nothing to gain from fighting with foolish and stupid people. As far as women go women have no respect of a man's boundaries. They will test you to see how far they can go with anything. They seem comfortable/entitles in doing so. As they know men can't get physical. Unless the man in question might have a screw loose. So, it seems like in this day and age one has to literally become in some sense a socio/psychopath. Sun Tzu explained it best in The Art of War. All war is deception. Uncle Rom, have you ever read a book called The Manipulated Man by Esther Vilar?

I see and hear of lots of men put through the ringer, been there done that myself, I used to be nice to a degree but when I noticed that the vultures were never satisfied. I chose to make them earn it. I don't condone being mean for no reason but prevention is better than cure. I tell men all the time that you have to be consistent, meaning in life, relationships even sex, "You can not start off hard and then go soft and vice versa. Stay true to you and don't compromise as you may lose a round but win the bout (someone is always watching). Losing the round could be a great thing, loss of the disrespectful type while the mature and secure in herself female watches how you handled yourself and the situation and will be more likely to be what you can relate to with mutual appreciation. Man..my wife once forgot who she was speaking to too. She wasn't my wife at the time. Anyway, I own a business and her brother were on my board of directors because it's in a foreign country. I was unhappy about something to do with the business which had nothing to do with my staff or people, but government administration and new policies which meant potential I would have to re-register the business and pay again. I was expressing my dissatisfaction and my girl adopted a tone with me which I did not like. Like why am I getting upset..Because I potentially I have to pay more money for shit I already paid for why would I not be uspet. She did not like me talking to her in such a blunt manner in front of her brother. I did not say a word to her as I was too busy, but I never ever forget nor forgive a slight. My girl asked me to come to the UK meaning pay for me to come. Said cool. As normal she got great treatment first day, second day...On the third day when we had to discuss business matters. I gave her the work of God and told her if she ever adopts any fucking tone when I am talking about my money and my business....Here whats gonna happen. I will remove from my Board of Directors and that is where it starts and then I will replace her with another sister who I have worked with who is really good at business and wanted to be with me from Kenya. Trust me she did not like that at all. See my girl had a problem separating herself from day to day life and bedroom shit to my money and business as a business owner. So when I act in the latter role when I am not happy about shit she wants to take it personally.Told she better shape up or she will be replaced by somebody who I dont have that relationship with. It never happened again. I can be pissed as fuck she just shut her mouth and sits on it..Because I will replace her ass in my business and no way she will want that because her ego would die. Then to know I will bring in another bad girl sister from Kenya who I have total trust in business wise..No way my big ego wife gonna swallow that. So she fall into line and shut up.
