Good one. Most dispatchers know what loads aren’t the most desirable and which ones are great. Doing a few of the less than great loads can help get the good ones. As you said the dispatchers have lots of people to deal with. All they want to do is get the loads covered, it’s usually not personal. I dispatched a local fleet years ago, I didn’t have time to hold the “bad” loads as many drivers thought.

What's the reason nobody/nothing at home? Their is a reason for this, Each have Prioritys. Truckers have given this away themselves just like they are willing to give up pay cause they Would never join a UNION. Retired Teamster OTR Driver of 42 years.
