I wish I could gather 99% of these so called "Spanish teachers" on YT and make them binge listen to Paul's lessons. They are a masterclass on how to actually TEACH people Spanish, that they will actually be able to understand and retain.

Hi Paul, just wanted to say how much your sessions have helped me talk to real people speaking real Spanish. I have been watching for about a year and a half took the 10 lessons and all the new ones after that. I lived in Mexico (Nayarit) for 14 yrs. and got by...but butchered the language. I want to move to Panama and have spent alot of time there. This year I spent 6 wks. and celebrated my 70th birthday there. I picked a very small ,very Panamanian village on the Azuero Penn. where there were few gringos. It was a blast!! I rode the bus everyday , talked to all my neighbors ,bus drivers, and fellow passengers. I could really communicate and did not speak like a 5 yr. old!! I loved it. Thank you so much! I will continue with your videos as they make so much sense to me and have helped me really speak. I hated abusing the language and was so proud when the locals could understand me and we could really talk . Many people complemented me on my Spanish. THANK YOU! I have shared your channel with alot of people. Really apprieciate all the work you put in!! karen k

Hola Paul. It's so great that you're creating some new content! Since watching all your videos and buying your vocab course several years ago, I have improved a lot. I cant stress enough how your videos helped me when I was still at A2 level. I think its your calm voice and the format of your material which is always practical, very useful and easily applied. Im now a certified B1 (DELE) student working towards B2. I have acquired numerous Mexican and Colombian friends here in Australia with whom I chat every week! Gracias otra vez y saludos desde Australia. Paul.🦘🦘🦘

Ive honestly bought it twice an have struggled with get thru to it. Ive gotten all the way up 4th course an seemingly never find it in me to move on. I definitely have a hard time being focused on it. I struggle alot with memory an didn't even make it thru anything in college. Im trying my hardest on finishing an succeeding in something this time around. I just need to accomplish something in my life. I know u r a good teacher an Ive liked ur things from the beginning. I myself just need to push myself thru it. I pray that God helps me thru this. I know its not that big but it does mean alot to me

I have never learned any foreign language by studying it at home; even if I wanted to, I was not motivated enough. Later in my life I have learned 3 languages while living in those countries where they speak them. When you live a real life in any country, motivated or not - you will be "forced" to learn it if you want to survive. My grandchildren learned 3 languages each by living in Germany and Spain, and attending a British school. BTW, they also speak my mother tongue simply by comunicating with us, his grandparents. Conclusion: You are motivated to learn when living in a country or among native speakers. That's all.

Quiero meterme "en la piscina" o "a la piscina"? Is this the correct way for in the pool vs to the pool?
@manuelmaquera6901Күн бұрын
los dos son válidos pero lo más usual es quiero meterme a la piscina
@Perico_MadridКүн бұрын
In Spain, where I am from, it is more common to use ‘en’ with the verb ‘meterse’. ‘Meterme en la piscina’ or “meterme en la cama”. ‘Meterme a ....’ sounds very strange in Spain. However, in Latin America it is more common to use ‘a’. ‘Meterme a la piscina’ or “meterme a la cama”. According to the Real Academia de la Lengua Española both forms are correct.
@zulynava405916 сағат бұрын
Depends on the country. But both are correct. Remember: there are 21 countries that speaks Spanish so there would be always variations and differences.
