Great video, Rizwan! While I agree with most of your points, I do have a different perspective on the level of competitiveness in training and residencies across different countries. In countries like the USA, Germany and some other parts of Europe, the training process is more straightforward and shorter, with only 3 years required for EM and 6-7 years for Neurosurgery to become a consultant. In contrast, the US and Germany don't have rotational positions or unaccredited years, resulting in a more focused and productive system. The UK is quite similar to Australia, but with easier access to training and higher pass rates, allowing for more attempts at fellowship exams (e.g., 6+1 attempts for IM in the UK vs. 3 in Australia).
