I think a lot of girls don't really "get it". I am obsessed with the books and have found that I wanted to be like Massie and I tried to start my own clique and buying clothes that I think Massie would wear. Of course the girls would lie and say they understand the message because they don't want to tell anyone the truth of why they read those books, not to learn how to deal with mean girls but to get a glimpse of a life that they could only dream of having and Lisi was standing right there!!

Ive only read the first book but i'm in love with the story and the characters!!! i don't know if it's good or not to read for young girls but i'm 15 and i feel like the story absolutely shows what it's like to be a teen girl in 2011.

I read this in the 5th grade and I was addicted to it. I've kind grown out of them, but Lisi is an ah-mazing writer. I recommend her to all you girls!

For my third christmas, i got a BCBG sweat suit and Prada Bag, just for dressup, but it didnt meen anything to me, honestly, i wouldv been happy if it was a pair of sweats from CVS and a plastic bag from Walmart, but now, i am soo thankful for how hard my parents work, and im not spoiled like these girls, yeah, i guess im popular, but its only because of my clothes, im sure if people got to know me, theyd think im weird, but me and my freinds may have the latest clothes.But were all the same.

I'm probably the only one still here as a girl their age I personally hate the interviewer, they dive way too deep into this trying to drag something out of the tween girls that they interview, but they all love it. They act like these books are the worst things ever but the target audience gets it. They know that what they do is wrong, it's just interesting and kind of inviable but it's still funny and crazy and over the top. It's great. These boomers are just trying to take Lisi and the clique down but they just look too far into it. The Clique Forever! BTW they just put the movie on Netflix.

I was saved by reading these books and I would have been in a LOT of trouble with some of the girls at school if I didnt know how Middle School girls acted. -------- Shes like my Role model I owe my rising popularity to her *cheers for The Clique*

i used to read these and i loved them! but then i saw on some website the age recommendation, and i think it was like 8-12? idk but i'm 16 almost 17 so it really hurt therefore i don't read them anymore=( so you young dollies: read em for me, cuz after this it's pride and prejudice and the great Gatsby and a whole other stuff i need to get started on before winter break ends! lol

Ok I do own the movie so I'm not going to trash Lisi Harrison, but she does kind of change her story with the interviewer. "Its fantasy its aspirational, I being a person who never got to wear designer clothes" etc then she compares it with magic. Then when the interviewer makes a good point as to why promoting this as magic might not be a good thing, she gets a look on her face then completely changes her story and says she's intentionally pointing out its bad.
