I think a good thing to do if you want to keep your fashion color but also want to grow your hair out is to try to blend your natural color with the already bleached color. If that makes sense...so when your roots really start to grow out, it will already be blended and it will look like it's meant that way. ^^

YourLossLoser Oh OR if you don't want to bleach it SINCE your natural hair is that dark, take an almost equally dark color and use it as a blender between a the natural hair color and a lighter fashion color...so for instance and really dark blue that you gradually add conditioner to it so it will fade light or what have you.

You can just cut your conditioner bottle in a half with the knife and get all the conditioner for something like 10 seconds without any diarrhea sounds ;)

Your hair looked really good when it was pink but I LOVE YOUR LILAC HAIR! Hair goals! Plus I died my fringe a gold blonde, I put a wash out pink dye "it'll be gone after 8 washes" It didn't come out! I went to school with a weird light pink fringe... That looked stupid and damaged! Ugh...

omg, you cannot NOT NOT use $2.00 conditioner. You absolutely must use a conditioner that's at least $6,000.00 for an 8oz. bottle sold exclusively at a salon. Beyond my sarcasm, your hair color is inspiring me to go lavender. I absolutely like the dark roots + purple. I have golden brown roots, I have no idea how it would turn out.

yay!!! I love lavender hair! looks awesome on you!!! by the way: have you heard of olaplex yet? it protects your hair from breakage, while bleaching. I'm filipino and have black hair, too, and I tried it out for the first time just three weeks ago and it works! my roots had approx. the same length as yours then, no breakage, no thinning, nada! :D . so if you'd like to grow your hair out and still want to remain your bleaching routine, then you could try this out. greetings from Germany :D

+RPGCinnamon Fox, I can't tag you, but yes, you'll have to bleach it to get it this colour. I once tried to dye my bangs teal and even after I bleached it to ginger, it didn't come out very well. So I would say bleach it.

When your natural color gets like 6-8 inches long you should bleach some of it by the end of your natural hair color so it will look like you just dye your ends and not look like you literally just dye your hair in a straight line
