My hair colour literally changes depending what light I am in- in my softbox lights it looks super lilac (I also turn up the saturation in my videos which makes it look even more so), but then under some lights it looks silver/grey. Check my instagram to see it looking more silver!

Use fudge clean blonde shampoo and conditioner! It's great! It's a purple shampoo which gives you a lilac/ silver colour! It's great!

when i had blonde hair! i used to use the lee stafford bleach babe shampoo and conditoner! i uaed to leave the shampoo on too long and my yellowly blonde hair would go silvery/purple, but next time im defo trying this one you recommended, i see it in my boots all the time xx

I found on my hair, when I used the touch of silver shampoo, if I left it on for a while before washing it out, it did make it quite silver with a lilac tint to it.. and it made it feel really soft! I found it out by accident; I just wanted to keep my hair as light or less orange/yellow for as long as possible so I didn't have to keep rebleaching/dying it! I really loved it. However when I came to bleaching my hair again, I found the Schwarzkopf live hair lightener with the touch of colours in it (cant remember the exact name, sorry!🙈) and they are amazing! Less harsh on my hair than full bleach, especially after bleaching my hair previously and it basically does all the work for me, just one lot of dye and it's lightened and coloured! Then wash with purple shampoo to keep up the colour (obviously since my hair was slightly lilac, the shampoo maintained it!) I found this method was brilliant for me. If you want lilac/silver hair, those are my tips and how I got mine if anyone's looking for a quick and easy option without the hassle of having to do loads of stages and loads of dyes and bleaches! ☺️👍🏼

hairdressers in my city also recommend that purple haircolor plus to get it a less vivid likac color to mix it to the wanted color by diluting it with a good hairconditioner.

+Pale Aesthetic Oh defo try the Loreal Proffesionals Silver Shampoo for grey. It actually makes your hair silver/grey instead of purple (love the purple btw, just in case you want more of a grey)

if you keep using silver shampoo..prepare to get snappy hair.. try lushs silver shampoo. if you leave it on for thirty mins it goes purpley silver..if u like blue silver hair try berina a21

lee stafford bleach blondes shampoo is fantastic i used to be white blonde and this shampoo pulled out any brassiness i had i think its only about £8 from boots alsoo :')

Good question! I love how it looks, however there is still a few bits underneath that are still a bit yellow which I would like to sort out. I would also love to have grey hair but its so difficult to achieve! I think I will continue to play around with the colours depending on my mood :P and that would look so pretty! Go to a salon maybe and ask their opinion :) thank you! x

Hi Sophie I tried doing what you did, I bought La Riche Directions Violet, mixed it with a bit of conditioner and left it on for 20 minutes. I washed my hair before hand and my hair has just gone very silver, did you put it on dry or damp hair? Thanks X

Hi! I put it on dry hair - then it tends to absorb more of the colour (from my experience). Also sometimes you have to play around with how much of the violet you add, so maybe add a little bit more next time and try it on a strand of hair to see if it makes a difference :) x

Irina Fox it lasts about 2 or 3 weeks on blonde hair and around 2 weeks on brown hair but it doesn't completely wash out for a month 😊hope this was helpful, these were what I experienced with using the directions pink hair dye

Purple and silver shampoos are meant to maintain color, not give a new tone. Unless your hair is extremely light, purple shampoo won't work as a toner alone.

but your hair still looks all patchy and has yellowy streaks. Go to a proper colourist as it looks very shonky and home done.
