Love this style body Toyota compared to the 2018 Toyota just seems more of an overlander then the truck bed style. Plus can fit drawers like u did, plus take the kids or family. Love your videos, was just watching the overlander 2018 Toyota build video deciding on which future Toyota I'd love to have.

Enjoy following y'alls journey. As well as a few others, Keep them coming. I do have one question, does the overland community do anything to help conserve and protect the public lands inwhich y'all spend alot of time in? Like a overland/conservation group one can join kind of like B.H.A. or any of the others out there used to help keep those resources open to us and not over used or mis managed. Again really enjoy the channel.

Gila = Hee-luh Mogollon = Muggy-yone Saguaro = Suh-war-o Cliff dwellings were also likely positioned for hiding and defense. It's also a possibility that the native people left after only 20 years because their position had become known to a conquering tribe.

I'm accustomed to lag-time between when creators experience something and when videos are posted to YT; ... but Mother's Day???? Considering it's now past Labor Day, I'm surprised you have any free file space to keep recording for future videos (looking forward to everything you've experienced though) ....
@LifestyleOverland6 жыл бұрын
It's definitely not where we want to be. But 8 months of working long work weeks, then 2 months of complete upheaval while selling out and converting to full time travel, then remote travel in the Yukon, NWT, and Alaska simply aren't conducive to video editing and uploading opportunities. All we can do is our best to catch up and post when we find decent wifi (while still maintaining quality). Our last video took 5 hours to upload at a coffee shop in Wasilla, AK. We have some big hurdles to overcome and the only thing that fixes it is time and travel south now to better infastructure. It will be worth it though... Feel free to follow us on Instagram and Facebook for more up to date travel content.

My secret is I married a chef 😁. But seriously, there are a LOT of PB&J's, cheese and crackers, veggie plates, and canned food that doesn't get filmed to afford the nicer meals from time to time.

Back on script, keep the flow going, forego the interviews (there are way too many egocentric channels on YT, one of which you are very familiar with), top notch videography and editing will continue your channel growth.
@LifestyleOverland6 жыл бұрын
Just so we're clear. 1) We appreciate the feedback; good and bad. 2) We have always been on script; it's our story. 3) Believe it or not, we aren't concerned with growing the channel. It's here and growing because people enjoyed what we were doing in the first place... which is what we are doing now. 4) The interviews, how-to's, and whatever else we decide to share, will be posted here because it's all working towards the goal of inspiring and helping inform others on overland related topics. We can't promise it will always be edge of your seat exciting, but it will always be us; doing what we do. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching.
@MrWinger19516 жыл бұрын
Lifestyle Overland why aren’t you interested in growing your channel, unless you are completely independently funded?
@LifestyleOverland6 жыл бұрын
What we said is that we aren't concerned with growing it. Meaning, it's not the driving focus. We are where we are because of what we do. We are independently funded... by our savings account from selling our home and truck. Unfortunately we are years and a few hundred thousand subscribers away from KZbin ever keeping this afloat. For now we are supplemented by our Patron supporters, one-time gifts, and more remote work such as video editing, photography, and social media management. We hope in the next few months to start breaking even, but if not, then efforts will simply have to shift back to more conventional income methods. All that being said, we aren't sacrificing who we are or creating fake drama to perpetuate our attempt at full-time traveling KZbinrs. We are either viable, or we are not.
@MrWinger19516 жыл бұрын
