venice: exploring the floating city

I went to Venice, Italy with my friends a few months back. I got separated from them but took the chance to get lost in the narrow streets of this beautiful city. If you get the chance to, wander through Venice because it is absolutely beautiful and what I learned is once you get off the beaten path, you are more likely to have the beautiful city to yourself.
