I've been getting a lot of questions lately about "acceptance fee" that the fiance needs to pay to the military. Based on my experience, there is no fee for getting permission to marry in the US military. Only when you process fiance/immigrant visas. And if there is, I believe it's the responsibility of the service member to pay for it, not the fiance.. Please be careful with scammers. God bless!

my issue is my fiancee (indonesia) only has 2 physicians authorized by the embassy in the 1 hospital. im trying to get it waived or anything at all. frankly i have no idea how to get around the medical requirement without the visa

I understand and it’s hard. In the philippines there’s only one accredited hospital to check me. Unfortunately we need to go there and I think it goes the same with Indonesia. I don’t think it will be waived as well since it’s a requirement. It’s hard but I know you both will get through it

@@jocellerebollar i presume your husband is army. i think i found a alternate path for airforce with the AFI having its own regulation on it saying it is not required. and also old court martials saying it cannot be persecuted under the ucmj due to it violating the civil right for an individual to marry who they wish as long as it is lawful otherwise.

@@simplymich2875 for marriage requirements ibang medical exam sya. Pagpunta mo ng st.luke's alam na nila yon. Dapat lang may recommendation letter ka from your fiance's chain of command na kailangan mo yun to get married.

Hindi kase alam ng husband ko yong process sa ganyan bago ka ikasal kailangan mag pa approved muna by commander tama po dba ?
