Soup: also applies to stews, chilis, beans...well most foods but wet ones especially if they taste like they're missing *something* 9 times out of 10 its acid. Cranberries are pretty acidic so the tartness makes it all taste better! Laura may not have known the reason but she knew the answer!! This is why I always add a splash of lime juice to pinto and black beans, it's SO flat without it, or apple cider vinegar to braised meat dishes! Poor Mike, he just wanted to be a boot guy 😂That nice evening with the fire at the end looks sooooo cozy tho!!!
